15 Possible Ways To Fix Fps Drops/Ping Spikes & Disconnection In 0.4 POE 2

Please Know That I am NOT A Tech Expert, Below Are Some Simple Fixes/Methods That Helped Me In 0.4 & Hopefully Can Help You Guys As Well!

FPS Lag Fixes:

1. Reduce Graphics Quality (Under Display Settings)

Put Detail Settings To The Lowest Possible

2. Display Mode

Try All 3 Yourself: From Window Full Screen (Best For Me)

To Windowed Or Full Screen Mode

3. Lower Resolution

4. Try Turning On/Off Loot Filter Or Set Lowest Filter

5. Try Switching Renderer To Vulkan (MUST Be Done In Login Screen, NOT In Game)

Top Left Options, Graphics, Display Setting & Renderer (Its At Top)

If Its No Better Can Always Swap Back!

6. Turn Off Useless Notifications Popups

Useful To Remove Distractions (Sometime Text Pop Up Blocks Loots)

7. Free Up Fps From Sound Setting

Options -> General -> Set Channel Count: Low

Scroll Down & Find Reverb Enabled: Turn It Off

Potentially Freeing Up 10-20 Fps

8. Keep PC/CPU Drive Updated

9. Reduce Summons & Minion Count

Minions Like Vaal Guard & Powered Zealts Are Top Tier But Also Over Heats PC & CPU

Ping/Lag Spikes & Disconnects

1. Switch From Auto Server To Manually Picking & Testing The Best Server For Yourself (Must Be Done In The Login Screen, Top Right)

Can Always Swap To One In Similar Region (E.g. HK, JP, SG)

2. Ask Host To Change To Your Best/Better Ping Server

Sometimes Even If You Are EU Or NA, And Playing On Asia: HK, JP, SG, Switching Between The 3 Asian Servers Could Help!

3. Avoid Known 'Bad Servers' For You: E.g. EU & Asia Was Bad For Me, So We Only Played On NA & Aus

4. Buying A Run/Service? Try The Ping At Host's Hideout First!

If Its Unstable & Spikes Non Stop, Then BEST To Reconsider Paying In Advance (Asking Host To Swap Servers Can Help Here)

5. Getting Huge Ping/Spikes?

I Had 10,000-50,000 ms Delays, Letting Party Know, Then Re-logging/Force Alt F4 & Restarting The Game Could Help Reconnect To Stable Server

6. Ensure Stable Internet:

For Me Wifi Connect Is Especially Bad This POE 2 0.4 League = Easily Giving Me 2000-5000 -> 60K Ms Spikes

Consider Getting An Ethernet Cable & This Was HUGE For Me ALL The Spikes Are Minimized & Gone! An Most DC Are Gone Too (Still 1/10 Maps Tho)

While On/Using WiFi: Try To Reduce Number Or Devices Connected To The WiFi, Try To Avoid Playing While Is Family Streaming/Downloading Huge Files
