Build Overview

This build has so much potential that, according to my current plan, I’ll be making a total of five videos about it.
The one I’m showing you today is the setup I’m currently running — the “mega expensive version.” If you know how to craft items yourself, I’d estimate it’ll cost at least four mirrors.

Honestly, I’m not sure how many people will actually follow this build, but since this is the version I’m personally using, I decided to showcase it first.
I’ll be uploading new variations of the guide every single day. For those with a tighter budget, you can look forward to the upcoming budget-friendly versions.

That said, this build comes with a lot of caveats. Please make sure to carefully watch the video and read the guide before trying it yourself.

And if you notice anything I’ve overlooked, please feel free to join my Discord server and let me know!

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • It’s just strong. Incredibly fast and powerful. The peak performance of Season 1 Temporalis has been almost perfectly recreated.
  • This is the most expensive build I’ve played in POE2. Even if you craft everything yourself, it will probably require a budget of over four mirrors.
  • On rarity maps (because of reduced life regeneration), you'll sometimes die. Considering the amount of currency sunk into it, the tankiness is on the weaker side. But on maps without reduced life regeneration, it’s very solid.
  • If you spam-click, the game often crashes for “too many clicks” and kicks you back to the main screen. On top of that, if you hold down blink even slightly too long, Sprint gets triggered. To deal with this, you either have to equip Shankgonne boots (and take a huge loss) or use a macro to click only as much as necessary.

Build Variants

This is the setup I’m currently using.
To be honest, if you really want to see the build’s true ceiling, it’s probably stronger to use a rare focus instead of Rathpith Globe, and go Stormweaver ascendancy with Archmage mana stacking rather than life stacking.

In particular, the Temporalis I own is such a one-of-a-kind, almost unique item on the server that even if you have the money, you simply can’t get the same one — which makes this even more the case.

If you go with a rare focus, you can reduce the cooldown of Blink a lot more, meaning you could achieve nearly the same performance even with a 2.2–2.3 second Temporalis.

But for today, I’ll only be covering the setup I’m actually using right now.

Temporalis
The only mod that matters here is cooldown reduction.
What number should you aim for? The higher, the better — always.
The higher it is, the easier to setup your build. To achieve performance similar to mine, you’ll probably need one with at least -2.2second or even better one.

However, since I uploaded my Shorts video, the top-tier items have basically been wiped out, so I’m not even sure if it’s possible to find one anymore.
If you want to get similar performance with a lower-tier item, you’ll have to check the other versions of my guide that I’ll be uploading daily.

– Wand
The wand is extremely expensive as well.
You’ll need a base of at least item level 80, and it’s best to get an exceptional one with two rune sockets.
It’s also important to have level 20 Spellslinger on it — that way you’ll get 5 support gem sockets.

Just the base alone was already worth 500 divines before I uploaded the video.
Also I recommend you to get extra +1 level to all spell skills with corruption, or sanctify.

so rather than mirroring someone else’s wand, it’s better to craft it yourself.

For affixes:

  • Prefixes: [Priority 1: Gain % of damage as, Priority 2: Spell Damage]
  • Suffixes: [Must-have: +4 to all Spell Skill Levels (no lighting spell! that won't increase the level of blink.), Cast Speed]
  • [Priority 1: Critical Multiplier, Priority 2: Critical Hit Chance, Priority 3: Intelligence]

That’s what you should aim for.

– Rings

  • Prefixes: Maximum Life +, (Lightning Damage %), (Increased Rarity)
  • Suffixes: Cast Speed, Skill Speed, (Increased Rarity) / Secondary: Strength, All Attributes

– Amulet

  • Prefixes: Maximum Life +, Maximum Life %, (Increased Rarity)
  • Suffixes: +3 to all Spell Skill Levels (mandatory!), Cast Speed, All Attributes

– Boots & Gloves
Required mods: All maximum life mods, Strength, and “100% increased Effect of Socketed Items.”
Other mods are flexible.
I recommend crafting on a 2-rune socket exceptional base.

For Rite of Passage, Cat is the best choice.
For Prism of Belief, the price has already gone way up, but you should try to get the highest possible if you want the best performance. Ideally +3.
Once Blink reaches level 38 (from 37), cooldown is reduced by an additional 0.1 seconds. So you want to stack as many gem levels as possible.

At level 40 Blink, cooldown is reduced by yet another 0.1 seconds — but this is impossible if you’re using Rathpith Globe. it's impossible even if you get additional +1 skill level from sanctifying amulet. If you want level 40 Blink, you’ll need to either pick a different ascendancy or use a rare focus.

The rest of the details can be found in the video.

But since it’s important, I’ll repeat: you should replace Heart of the Well jewel with Megalomaniac, and stack as many cooldown-related passives as possible.
Also, use amulet annoint to allocate cooldown-related passives.

How it Plays

Hold down Spellslinger, or use NumLock (I’ll explain this below in the How it works section) to set up auto-casting.
Then spam Blink.
As you keep teleporting, the skill gets casted automatically and everyone around you dies.

However, if you use it in its default state, even pressing Blink just a little too long will trigger Sprint.
And if you spam Blink too much, the game will kick you back to the main screen for “too many clicks.”

That’s why I strongly recommend using a macro. Adjust the delay based on your cooldown recovery and cast speed under full buffs. (I’ll explain this in more detail below.)

As far as I know, “one button = one action” macros (where a single button is bound to a single action) are not against the GGG policy.
Still, if you’re uncomfortable using macros, then keep an eye out for the other versions I’ll be uploading soon!

One of those version is like you cast the main skill manually, and you only use Blink when you actually need it. In some ways, this version is even more comfortable to play than the autobomber style, and it doesn’t require any macros at all.
I also expect it to surpass the autobomber version in terms of setup cost-efficiency and overall build power.

How it Works

– How to use NumLock to auto-cast Spellslinger

  1. Assign Spellslinger to any number key on the numpad.
  2. Hold down that key.
  3. Turn off NumLock.
  4. Release the key.

Now, until you leave the map, Spellslinger will keep getting casted automatically without stopping.

– Macro
If you’re using a gaming mouse, you can set up a macro with its dedicated software.(e.g: G-hub)
Adjust it according to your cooldown recovery and cast speed so that when you hold down the button, Blink gets triggered exactly as often as needed at the optimal timing.

If you don’t have a gaming mouse, I recommend using AutoHotkey.
I won’t go into too much detail here since that would make the guide overly long, but here’s an example script I wrote myself:

~XButton1::
while GetKeyState("XButton1")
{
Send {Space}
Sleep, 160
}
return

This assumes that your dodge button is bound to the spacebar and that your mouse’s (Backspace? I don't know what is it called) button isn’t already assigned to anything.
With this script, pressing the backspace button on your mouse will make the spacebar trigger automatically.
