This is the best known leveling build for Infernalist / Lich minions. I was able to complete campaign in X:XX.

Your first Level 1 Uncut Skill Gem that you get from Renly will be Contagion and then you must pick up the Skill Gem in Clearfell to cut Flame Wall.

Complete The Mud Burrow, use the Level 2 Skill Gem on Skeletal Sniper, and the Support Gem on Multishot I.

You'll get another guaranteed Level 2 Skill Gem in The Red Vale from the league mechanic. Cut Frost Bomb.

First Level 3 Skill Gem (The Rust King): Essence Drain

Second Level 3 Skill Gem (The Grim Tangle): Upgrade Skeletal Sniper

Third Level 3 Skill Gem (Crowbell): Pounce

Upgrading priority: Skeletal Sniper > Essence Drain > Flame Wall > Frost Bomb

Tier 1 Support Gem Order:

Multishot I + Fire Attunement for Skeletal Sniper
Zenith I + Chain I for Essence Drain
Fire Attunement + Last Gasp for Raging Spirits

How it Plays

In early Act 1, use Contagion and Unearth to clear trash monsters. You'll drop Unearth by the time you reach level 6 and swap to Essence Drain.

For bossing, place Flame Wall and Frost Bomb on the boss, and use Skeletal Sniper's Gas Arrow afterwards. Gas Arrow will detonate when it touches an ignited enemy, dealing insane damage.

When you get Raging Spirits after Freythorn, summon them with Flame Wall when Gas Arrow is on cooldown. Don't forget to keep exposure up with Frost Bomb.
