Shaman Rage Spell Scaling is setup.
Shaman with investment into maximum rage can generate ~60% ish more spell damage and close to 400% spell damage achieved with
Mystical Rage,
Thane Girt's Rune of Wildness (bonded mod 1% spell per rage),
Druidic Champion and all these rage benefits boosted by
Berserk.
Shaman also gives access to +2 limit to tornado via
Darkness Enthroned 100% effect of body runes socketed with
Idol of Maxarius. All in all shaman gives great spell damage scaling with good quality life due to +2 limits.

Endurance charges grant 20% more defence with

Tornado Mechanics
Tornado gets 80% of its damage from chilled, shocking or ignited ground. We get these ground effects through 3 sources:
- ignited ground: Burning Inscription +
Elemental Weakness - shocking ground: Trail of Lightning on
Companion: {0} we capture a boar from act 3 infested barrens where next to a checkpoint you can "respawn at checkpoint" to reroll rare mods on rare boar. - chilled ground:
Bind Spectre on a Quill Crab found at Whakakapanu Island(act 4)

Against the Darkness is using a
Solar Amulet with extra flat spirit, this solution will not allow Clarity I in reservation space.

To reserve all these you will need roughly around 160 spirit, which can be acquired using a t2+ spirit roll +
Solar Amulet spirit implicit OR
Against the Darkness w/ spirit per notable roll
Lose % life + Chaos Innoculation?
Berserk %lose life is tracked fractionally by the game and can be completely countered with 1 suffix on gear with flat life regen.
Guatelitzi's Thesis later can be added to boots for great sprint speed as its lose life percentage will also be countered by the flat regen
Uniques
Darkness Enthroned needs to be bottom Armour mod with atleast 100% effect to make +1 storm limit from bonded mod give +2 storm limit
Hateforge needs to have "lose rage at maximum rage" mod removed via Vaal Cultivation Orb. The other reasons we use hateforge is for maximum rage(higher roll = better) & charge generation mod(low # = better)
Lavianga's Spirits helps mana regen without needed to remember to press a flask. Good QoL, but probably weaker than a well crafted high tier mana flask to use when cost gets spammy on a boss.
Atziri's Splendour Super Expensive min-max option, requires flat energy shield roll outcome from vaal cultivation orb while removing the "life cost" mod. This gives 1k+ energy shield + 40-50 all elemental resists and +1 gem level. - Alternative to
Atziri's Splendour is just a
Vile Robe with high Energy shield and elemental resistance rolls

Leveling
For leveling its recommended to use spirit scaling gear early and transition to tornado when the gem is equippable around lvl 41.
Threaded Light = 12% spell damage per 10 spirit, corruptions can go up to 15% per 10 spirit
Enfolding Dawn gives 100 flat spirit- A low level sceptre can give 150 spirit
Wisdom of the Maji can be used as first lab to grant 120 spirit(needs belt with 3 charm slots)
Grip of Kulemak can give 2% cast speed per 20 spirit + other useful stats like +spirit per str/%spirit ect. (check mod pool, but 2% cast speed per 20 spirit is most important
All these combined by your first lab should net roughly 400 spirit giving 480%+ spell damage and 80% cast speed around level 20, this will carry you to lvl 40 completing second lab at which point rage tornado can be swapped to.
After hitting level required to put on tornado, complete second lab and respec to rage
Furious Wellspring + rage tree and change leveling spirit gear for +3 wand, +2 focus, +2 amulet and prioritize getting mana regeneration rate on rings/focus/wands ect. This should help you naturally progress through the rest of campaign where at lvl 65 its recommended to start swapping into good ES body armour/boots +
Iron Slippers annoint, and then a high es+armour helmet.
