Overview

Low, High and Full are keywords that reference the state of a resource in Path of Exile 2.

Basic Mechanics

What does Low mean?

Low refers to the current percentage of a maximum resource being at 35% or lower.

For example the Wondertrap Unique Boots grant '50% increased Rarity of Items found', but only while your Life is at 35% of its maximum or less.

What does High mean?

High refers to the current percentage of a maximum resource being at 65% or higher.

For example Seething Body grants Elemental Archon upon casting a Spell, but only if your Infernal Flame is currently at 65% of its maximum or higher.

What does Full mean?

Full refers to the current percentage of a maximum resource being exactly 100%. If a resource is Overflowed beyond its normal maximum, it will also count as Full as long as none of the resource is Reserved.

For example the Foxshade Unique Body Armour grants '10% increased Movement Speed' and '100% increased Evasion Rating' whilst your Life is considered Full.

Note: if some of a resource is Reserved, it cannot be considered as Full unless a modifier strictly states 'Full Unreserved'.

Counting as Low, High or Full

Some rarer modifiers will allow you to count as being Low, High or Full on a particular resource without needing to satisfy the normal requirements. These modifiers often require a specific condition to be met to activate the status.

Note: counting as a certain status does not prevent you from satisfying the requirements of, and therefore benefitting from, the bonuses of another status.

One such example is Coward's Legacy, a Unique Belt that makes you count as being on Low Life while at 75% of your maximum Life or lower. A character using this Belt can therefore be on Low and High Life simultaneously by remaining between 65% and 75% of their maximum Life.
