Crafting GG +3 Melee Skills Crit Amulet

INTRODUCTION

Crafting in Abyss 0.3 league is stronk and far more deterministic than in previous leagues. This craft is case-in-point, with really only 1 gamba step.

This craft will save you 10-15 DIV on average based on market prices today (09/10/2025). I'll include trade links for the bases, and a careful step-by-step for the craft along the way.

WHAT YOU ARE MAKING

If you have come here without knowing what you are even trying to make, this amulet guarantees 4 affixes (I would normally post screenshots here and throughout this guide but Mobalytics will not let me):

T1 --> +3 Melee Skills

T1/T2 --> Critical Hit Chance

T1/T2 --> Critical Damage Bonus

T1 --> Global Defenses

The remaining affixes are not as deterministic, but ideally you will find 2 additional defensive mods related to Energy Shield or Evasion, or potentially a Spirit Prefix.

INGREDIENTS

These prices were on the day of this writing (09/10/2025).

1 Perfect Exalted Orb (2.5 Div)

1 Greater Exalted Orb (4 Exalt)

2 Omen of Homogenising Exaltation (1 Div)

1 Perfect Essence of Enhancement (1 Exalt)

1 Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation (41 Exalt)

1 Omen of Dextral Exaltation (1-3 Exalt)

1 Omen of Greater Exaltation (1-3 Exalt)

20 Carapace Catalysts (less than 1 Exalt each)

1 Omen of Catalyzing Exaltation (1-3 Exalt)

1 Preserved Collarbone (15 Exalt)

1 Omen of Abyssal Echoes (47 Exalt)

** Total cost: ~4 Div per Amulet

Then you need two non-corrupted bases for recombination (item level 80 minimum). Suggest buying multiple pairs because failed recombination is about 50:50.

1 Solar Amulet (or other base) with T1 Crit Bonus or Crit Chance

(note that you can update the filter to 38, which will roll over in the recombination, but these perfect bases cost 3-4x)

THE CRAFT

Step 1:

Open your recombinator (in hideout) and recombine your two amulet bases. One has a T1 Crit roll, the other has a T6/T7 Accuracy roll. Select these two modifiers before recombinating.

You can see there is about a 50/50 chance, luckily the bases are very cheap so if you get unlucky, just keep full sending bases.

Step 2:

With your freshly recombinated amulet, next activate these omens in your inventory, and slam your costly Perfect Exalted Orb

Omen of Dextral Exaltation

Omen of Greater Exaltation

Omen of Homogenising Exaltation

Then + Perfect Exalted Orb

Because of the crafting table for this item, and the existence of only the Tier I crit mod, what this results in is a guaranteed +3 Melee Modifier and a T1 of the other Crit modifier. In terms of deterministic crafting, this is really broken: are suffixes are DONE and guaranteed.

Step 3:

Now we will get the gross accuracy out and add Global Defenses. Use your Perfect Essence of Enhancement with this Omen active:

Step 4:

This is the gamble step

Now before the slam for step 4, we need to use Carapace Catalysts on the Amulet, which will help guarantee an additional Defense Mod (supposedly). Set the defense quality to 20, then use your Greater Exalted Orb with these Omens:

Omen of Homogenising Exaltation

Then + Greater Exalted Orb

NOTE: because this step is gamba, and because the additional defense roll is not that important, many will opt for a Greater Exalted Orb on this step. If you are going for absolutely min/max chance on this step, use Perfect Exalted Orb. The step already has a decent chance to roll a useless mod, and the good mod variance in value is not as significant with tier difference, so using a Perfect over a Greater raises the cost of the craft on repeat significantly.

Step 5:

Use the Collarbone, and travel to the Well of Souls to roll your mod with the Omen of Abyssal Echoes active.

Here you are rolling for the next best mod. Some ideals are:

Energy Shield (flat or %)

Energy Shield or Evasion from Body Armour

Deflection %

Spirit

Again Note: as above, you could go with the Ancient Collarbone for higher chance of better roll on mod. But these are VERY expensive, and change the value of another gamble step. At the moment, these are so expensive that is probably better to roll 2X at the regular collarbone with Echoes than 1X of the Ancient. Maybe prices will change.

Obviously what is REALLY good about this craft is that 4 of the 6 modifiers are guarantees, and the suffixes being the most important for damage, it is REALLY overpowered deterministically.

The desecrated mod with Echoes also has a VERY high chance to be valuable, so you are looking at a good chance of a 5/6 amulet for very cheap.
