The Acolyte of Chayula is the most underrated ascendancy. This build is super stacking Volatility for Gain Damage as Extra Chaos. The engine uses
Boneshatter + Minion Pact II +

Unstable Bond and to prevent 20,000 physical damage at max stacks we take
Inner Turmoil. The character can manually detonate Volatility with Catharsis in
Infernal Cry twice with Second Wind III.
Whirling Assault is used for both clear and single target!

Lineage support gem priority is Uul-Netol's Embrace, Rigwald's Ferocity, 3 Dialla's Desire, Uhtred's Exodus, and Uhtred's Omen.
Solus Ipse lets you equip 3 Dialla's Desire, then you put your helmet back in the slot.
Minion Pact II inside of
Boneshatter +
Wolf Pack w/ Minion Instability +
Cast on Minion Death and
Profane Ritual gives you charges for days and you also get a 1.3x multiplier to your Critical Hit Chance (by virtue of
Charge Regulation). This interaction is dually scaling ALL of your damage from the death of the Wolves in your
Wolf Pack with the
Unstable Bond interaction. To detonate this Volatility without waiting for the Volatility Detonation Timer make sure you do not forget Catharsis in your
Infernal Cry.
Infernal Cry also has Second Wind III so you can do this twice,
Instability will sometimes refund everything you detonated so you can do it again again again again.
Precise Volatility is freakishly overpowered considering we also use a
Cast on Critical setup that spams
Comet.

Boneshatter [Weapon Set I] Rigwald's Ferocity gives 30% increased Attack Speed when in this set so all of our [Weapon Set I] points are Attack and Skill Speed related.
Eternal Rage [Weapon Set I] gives you rage (eternally). This works with
Commanding Rage from our
Solar Amulet anoint and gives us Attack Speed by virtue of our
Trenchtimbre bottom line!
Wolf Pack [Weapon Set I] this MUST MUST MUST only be on [Weapon Set I] because they can avoid their respawn death timer with Weapon Swapping to
Boneshatter.
Cast on Minion Death [Weapon Set I] this MUST MUST MUST only be on [Weapon Set I] and it has inherent synergy with our
Boneshatter + Minion Pact II and
Wolf Pack + Minion Instability combo!
Whirling Assault [Weapon Set II] is our ONLY damaging skill, due to the Volatility stack interaction you can usually see around a 4x change in your tooltip from hideout. Obviously this skill directly scales with Increases to Area of Effect and synergizes with
Herald of Ash for SUPER clear.
Infernal Cry buffs are nice but the primary utility is the Catharsis interaction that manually detonates your Volatility.
Infernal Cry [Weapon Set II] we do not have a build without this skill and its Catharsis interaction because Volatility has a timer that we continually reset irrespective of whether we want to or not because we have a source of Gain Volatility on Kill before our
Inner Turmoil node in our Ascendancy. Second Wind III lets you use this twice.
Berserk [Weapon Set II] scales the Rage you get from your
Eternal Rage in your other weapon set
Herald of Ash [Weapon Set II] BOOOOOOOOOOOM we deal a lot of damage BOOOOOOM
Cast on Critical [Weapon Set II]
Comet MORE BOOOOOOOOOOOOM, we have a bunch of Critical Hit Chance from our
Striking Quarterstaff +
Precise Volatility +
Charge Regulation +
Profane Ritual setup
Charge Regulation [Both Weapon Sets] multipliers to Defenses and Critical Hit Chance! Increase to Skill Speed on occasion!
Passive Tree
Controlled Metamorphosis has a MASSIVE radius and as little -% Elemental Resistance roll as you can afford.
Heart of the Well takes a Gain As Extra Prefix, % of Leech is Instant, and in a perfect world Increased Critical Hit Chance and % increased Critical Damage Bonus or Attack Speed.
Megalomaniac should only take
Unstable Bond or
Commanding Rage. Whichever is not anointed on your
Solar Amulet
Flesh Crucible takes
Unwavering Stance, make sure to get Less Movement Speed as the other mod. We don't need Movement Speed because we use
Boneshatter to move (Attack Speed).
Sapphire should have increased Maximum Energy Shield, increased Critical Hit Chance, Increased Critical Damage Bonus, or 2% Recover Maximum Mana on Kill. The rest of the mods are whatever!
Dance with Death is the the best Keystone for the character and works with the
Boneshatter +
