This build is soooo much fun and can do all the content in the game! This is as close to a one button build as you can get.
Why
Deadeye?
- This build excels with lots of attack speed and additional projectiles.
Deadeye gives us both of these things with
Gathering Winds &
Endless Munitions. - Other ascendancies would also work but I felf like deadeye is the best option.
Starting Out
Full levelling guide for gear and trees below.
While
Molten Blast is our final ability, we want to level with bow skills. It feels smooth and is incredibly easy to make it through the acts. We switch over to
Molten Blast when you can afford to buy
Brutus' Lead Sprinkler. I recommend switching when you finish the acts around level 60. You also want to have taken
Endless Munitions before making the switch.
We start with
Lightning Arrow &
Lightning Rod for bosses. We use these skills until level 31 when we can switch to
Ice Shot &
Snipe. We also add
Freezing Mark once we swap to Ice Shot. Use
Ice-Tipped Arrows when available!
If you need more assistance while leveling, Fubgun has a very in-depth guide to get you through the acts. My build is similar while leveling. Return to this guide when ready to switch to maces around level 60.

MODS TO LOOK FOR WHILE LEVELING BOWS
- Flat damage
- Attack Speed
- Elemental Damage
- Attack Damage
- Mana on Kill
- Mana Regeneneration
- Life on Kill
- Evasion
- Life
Switching to Maces/Molten Blast (~Level 60)
Use
Brutus' Lead Sprinkler as well as a Rare Mace with Strength, Attack Speed, and FLAT elemental damages. We want to dual-wield so we get the extra projectiles. Using a shield instead of dual-wield maces causes us to lose 2 projectiles and feels bad.
We convert fire damage to lightning using
Valako's Vice Gloves until we convert Fire to Cold using
Twisted Empyrean and
Giant's Blood
Get as much STRENGTH AND MANA as possible. Our damage scales from both of these mods!!
MODS TO LOOK FOR WHILE LEVELING BOWS
- STRENGTH
- MANA (Scales Cold Damage when you switch to
Twisted Empyrean - Dexterity
- Intelligence
- Flat damage
- Attack Speed
- Elemental Damage
- Attack Damage
- Mana on Kill
- Mana Regeneration
- Life on Kill
- Evasion/Armor
- Life
- Deflect
Ideally, we go pure evasion. But to roll STRENGTH on items we need to use hybrid Evasion/Armor gear. so we try to get as high of rolls as possible on gear to get as much evasion as possible.
Strength is our most important attribute, but we still need as much Dexterity and Intelligence as possible. Take almost all strength nodes in the tree
