Comet IS BACK! And this time we are playing it on an 
Infernalist!
Cast on Elemental Ailment Comet does everything you want in a build! It blows up all your enemies AND your computer!
This build focuses heavily on Ward stacking to keep us alive since we are Infernalist. Essentially our ascendancy allows us to completely skip the mana requirements with a cost but since we use ward we negate that cost all together!
Our setup for Comet currently allows us to use Cast on Elemental Ailment to cast double Comet. It is very important that you level your Comet. You really want it to be level 20 then corrupted for +1 level and double corrupted for 22% or better quality. This will significantly increase your damage!
For this build you will need a total of 271 spirit! This can be obtained by corrupting an 
Alpha's Howl for spirit or getting a 
Ventor's Gamble and having spirit on your boots.
PLEASE NOTE ALL OF YOUR GEAR NEEDS TO BE RUNIC , EVERYTHING REVOLVES AROUND RUNE!

For your 
The Brass Dome the only important line is the -1% to maximum elemental resistances. Ideally you get a 3 socket armor and go from there!
We are using 
Redblade Banner to help increase our energy gain thanks to the double power modifier on it!
For the 
Megalomaniac all you care about is the 
Fulmination node. Nothing else on it matters. Everything else is a bonus!
For the 
Svalinn you want to make sure the "TAKE EXTRA DAMAGE WHEN BLOCKING" line is removed, you also want to make sure the runic mod on your shield is "Runic Ward gained on block"
Please do not forget to quality all of your gems this is also very important!

***HOW TO LEVEL THIS BUILD***
I played this build as 
Twister 
Lich until level 92 then I swapped over.

At level one grab a Spear from the gambling vendor or the one of the other vendor! When you can make the weapon rare! Note you will need to upgrade your spear a few times in the campaign so that damage doesnt fall off!
You are going to want to grab the following skills 
Whirling Slash 
Twister.
As you progress through Act 1 and level up you will eventually start to find some currency. When you do save it and try to buy
Wake of Destruction as fast as possible once your do youare good to go! From here just Whirling Slash and Twister when you have 3 Salvo charges and watch the magic happen!
