PoE 2 Build

161% Slow/Enfeeble Curse Support

Updated on Dec 24, 2025

Build Overview

-------VALID FOR 0.4-------

No major or minor changes notes that would effect this getting to 150% realistic cap. Will be updated when database is available

Inevitable Agony good now.

Important Note - Party Play Only

This isn't a single player build, you can't make this, go into a map and make loot explosions happen by yourself, it needs friends. However, this is the sort of build that can buff (or debuff) so much that you're basically on a merry jaunt through the wheat fields.

----------------------------

So you're running juicy keys and your DPS, rarity bot, or leeches keep dying... Well this build might be the answer! Whether in a duo or a full 6-man, this Chrono build will bring a blanket of warmth and safety to any content you can dream of.

Forenote, about this guide

This build has a couple of variants, so do check and make sure you're picking the right build for the right content. We can go over the top on the slow, so if we don't need to we should tailor that for more defences.

Mobs are limited to 75% slow effect from temp chains, and each party member gives 10% LESS effect per member, as such we need to get to 150% slow effect on Temporal Chains to maintain this at all party sizes. Note, if you typically run at small sizes you can remove some nodes specifically for slow and do something else with them... More jewels more curse area if you do that I reckon.

Curse/Rarity Bot (2-6 man)

  • Stacks enough rarity to supplement as full rarity bot (250%)
  • Maxes out slow for 6-man (125%)

Curse Bot (3-6 man)

  • More self defensive
  • 3x Curses
  • Screen+ of Aura Presence
  • Works best with a Rarity Bot

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Curse for every situation
  • Makes Abyss maps simple
  • Makes T16 High Deli Simple
  • Can keep all but the glassest of cannons in the fight
  • Fast (for a bot) 70% Movespeed
  • Chronomancer is weird

Build Variants

This build is designed as a pure support build.

We slow close to the max in 6-man parties, sitting at 161% slow magnitude, and cause enemies to deal 69% less damage (nice), this is an "Always on" mechanic due to Blasphemy, we can also support using any other curse depending on our group set up. Using Frost Bomb we can remove any resistance and even take it to -68%. Basically we do all the things people usually sacrifice raw DPS numbers to include on their builds, while adding about 60% damage to our carries via the various sceptre buffs.

Stat Priorities

Sceptre

  • Priority: Spirit (At least 129 overall!), Presence Area of Effect, Allies Deal Increased Damage, Aura Skills Have Increased Magnitude
  • Secondary: Cast/Attack Speed

Fulmination Seems to be a good pick due to Lone Warrior and us being more than sorted on resistances, if you need a res, you can grab a Shrine Sceptre as needed instead. Or just whatever sceptre is cheapest with good stats, stat lines matter more.

Focus

  • Priority: Energy Shield, Resistances (T1/2s)

Amulet

  • Priority: Spell Skills, Attributes
  • Secondary: Energy Shield, Energy Shield %
  • Annointment: Warlord Leader

Boots

  • Priority: Movement Speed, Resistances (T1,2s), increased effect of sockets
  • Secondary: Energy Shield
  • Sockets: Farrul's Rune of the Chase

Chest

  • Priority: Energy Shield, Resistances (T1/2s)

Rings (Doedre's Damning and Grip of Kulemak)

Doedre's Damning, allows us to have 3 curses up at once, two from Blasphemy and one of our choosing.

Grip of Kulemak

  • Area Effect of Curses
  • Slow Magnitude
  • Energy Shield

Gloves

  • Priority: Energy Shield, 100% increased effect of sockets
  • Sockets: Serpent Talisman

Helmet (Alpha's Howl)

Priority: Sockets for more resistances, 100 Spirit don't get a scuffed one.

Belt (Darkness Enthroned)

Needs to act as though GLOVES, and you put Serpent Talisman in there. Just use whatever if you can't afford these yet, a nice belt with some mana or some flask stuff.

That's a lot of Curses, why?

Well... we don't cast them all at once and you've got the open slots and who wants to do switches anyway??

Vulnerability - If your DPS is phys, use this

Despair - If your DPS is chaos, use this

Elemental Weakness - If you want to piss off all your DPS using Rakiata's Flow, use this.

I see a damage skill, we do damage?

Oh my sweet summer child, no.

We use Frost Bomb to apply -68% exposure, if you're using Elemental Weakness on bosses, and your DPS is using Rakiata's Flow, this will make them REALLY unhappy.

Basically ask your guys not to use Rakiata's Flow so you have a button to press.

Weapon Switches

Put EVERYTHING and your curses (Elemental Weakness, Despair and Vulnerability) on weapon switch 1.

Put Frost Bomb on weapon switch 2, we use this for better Time Freeze times.

Jewels

Sapphires (Sapphire)

  • Prioirty: Curse Area, Energy Shield

Megalomaniac

  • Get one that allocates Time Manipulation this will cap us to 150% slow, enough to hit 75% (capped) in 6-man parties.

How it Plays

Mapping

Run around casting whatever curse (Elemental Weakness, Despair and Vulnerability) your team needs. Make sure you're up front and leading, you'll be able to round up and slow down all threats.

If something spicy happens press Temporal Rift or Convalescence

Bossing

Holy, we have a rotation boys....

  • Frost Bomb
  • Frost Bomb
  • Time Freeze
  • (Elemental Weakness, Despair or Vulnerability)

STOP, Hammer time (The others do this). If boss moves again;

  • Frost Bomb
  • Time Freeze
  • (Elemental Weakness, Despair or Vulnerability)

How it Works

By turning Temporal Chains and Enfeeble into Auras AND curses using Blasphemy we're able to really scale the effects of these two curses beyond the malice applied by them being socketed in Blasphemy, as this is out soul focus we're able to do this while getting solid movement and defences. It has the one job and it does it for a team, you're effectively reducing the threat from all but the ground effects and on death effects.
