Ultimate Lightning Sorcerer

Build Overview

This build utilizes Spark to deal damage but also to proc our Cast on Critical. This will allow us to auto cast Arc multiple times per second. As part of this combo we are generating loads of Lightning Infusions, so that each Arc will deal triple damage. The result is a build that's both able to delete bosses and clear entire screens of enemies with ease.

On Spark replace Dialla's Desire with Deliberation if you don't have one.

On Cast on Critical, you can replace Sione's Temper with Deliberation for bossing. If you're having trouble with mana in single target, you can replace Sione's Temper with Efficiency II.

Mana Tempest should be used against bosses that you are wanting to burst down. The idea is you want to pop if after you've ramped all of your combo pieces and have a bunch of Sparks already cast. In general this ability can be difficult to utilize correctly, so I only recommend you use it once you are more comfortable with the build.

For stronger AOE, take Elemental Equilibrium from the passive tree and replace Storm's Recollection with Refracted Infusion in the ascendancy. This will allow your Snap to generate Cold Infusions as well as Lightning infusions, allowing you to cast Infused Sparks.

How it Plays

For general AOE clear you will just casting Sparks which will destroy everything and also proc your Cast on Critical to auto cast Arcs. Make sure you use Snap on the corpses after clearing each pack to generate infusions!

For your bossing rotation things are a bit more complicated. Before the boss spawns, you'll want to start by casting Sigil of Power, then cast 2 Orb of Storms. Cast sparks until the Orb of Storms spawn lightning infusions, then cast 2 new Orb of Storms. Keep repeating this until the boss is about to spawn. Cast Elemental Weakness right before the boss spawns, then cast Mana Tempest. Cast 2-3 more Sparks, then walk out of the Mana Tempest. At this point your Sparks should crit a bunch, and will send an insane amount of Arcs into the boss. With the proper gear and execution, this will instantly kill any boss in the game.
