Build Overview

Welcome to the Plant Daddy Endgame Build Guide. This builds cruises through the entire Path of Exile 2 endgame while mostly pressing a single button. If you value comfort and not having to have top gear to clear all content - Plant Druid is one of the best options out there.

The real beauty of the build comes from our second ascendancy Forced Outcome. Since this guarantees a crit on every cast, we can auto trigger Thunderstorm with Cast on Critical to permanently water our plants - outrageously buffing their damage. For bosses who might actually survive a hit, we take the even stronger plants Thrashing Vines to make quick work of them.

Cut Thunderstorm so it's exactly level 18 in your Cast on Critical (take your total amount of + spell skills, subtract from 18, and cut that Thunderstorm). Example: If I have a +2 amulet, I would cut level 16 Thunderstorm so it's 18 in COC. This is to guarantee drench for guaranteed shock while spending the least amount of Mana possible.

We get Sigil of Power from a Chiming Staff in our 2nd Weapon Set. Make sure to set your plant spells to ONLY be cast with your powerful weapon set.

How it Plays

Mapping

  1. Run forward and cast Entangle to make enemies chase you and step on your plants. They have no chance to survive.
  2. Use Thrashing Vines on Elites and Bosses (3 Entangle to 1 Thrashing Vines).

Bosses

  1. Cast Sigil of Power close to the boss, but not on the boss.
  2. Spam Entangle to bring Sigil of Power to Level 4.
  3. When the boss spawns, cast a single Thrashing Vines beneath them.
  4. Try to stay in the Sigil of Power and cast 3 Entangle for every 1 Thrashing Vines.
  5. DO NOT SPAM Thrashing Vines! ITS WAY LESS DPS AND DRAINS YOUR MANA! IF YOU DO THIS I WILL CALL THE POLICE!

6/17/26 - Corrected the glove and boot augments for Expensive and Mirror Tier.

6/11/26 - Added Zenith II to all endgame variants as it helps tremendously with mana. Honestly should have been there the whole time can't believe I didn't notice until now. OOF

6/10/26 - Updated the Mirror Tier version amulet to instill Zarokh's Gift (a Jewel Socket) instead of Cooked. Also added Zarokh's Refrain to Thrashing Vines because the spell echo's are very strong and the added cooldown doesn't hurt us at all because you're not supposed to spam it anyway. Also picked up Ruin as we path over to the right side.

6/7/26 - Updated some of the equipment because it didn't display properly (rings & flasks). Also made sure Chaos Res was solved on all variants. Put the correct crit stat on the Helmets.

6/6/26 - Updated the Cheap and Endgame Passive Trees again because POB'd higher damage by taking Sudden Escalation. I also updated the spell rotation section.

6/5/26 - Updated the Cheap and Endgame Passive Trees because they were changed in the 0.5.1 patch.

6/1/26 - Updated the Cheap and Endgame versions to remove Heroic Tragedy - absolutely not worth bothering with unless you go for Mirror Tier.

5/27/26 - Updated the guide the best I could prior to 0.5, but I'm going to have to revisit it a few days into the league when I learn about everything new.

5/25/26 - Created all Endgame Versions of Plants.
