Deadeye vs Pathfinder
So, this build is a little strange,
Deadeye clearly has the early game advantage over
Pathfinder and is the much better choice when first mapping and throughout the campaign.
As such, the "Early Mapping" build should be set to the
Deadeye ascendancy, with the switch to
Pathfinder happening at Ascendancy 4 (or you can switch later)
Effectively to get the most out of
Pathfinder, which is a solid tank for any end game farms that require it there is a bit more of a gear check, with a triple dip into
Traveller's Wisdom for Armour, Evasion AND Energy shield being possible at the mid to high invest.
Deadeye also makes up for a lack of projectiles and surpassing projectile chance on gear in the early game, which is critical for clear speed.
Tank
This is honestly a 9/10 on the tank scaling. You have multiple layers of tank, like an onion or ogre. It's not a 50k Energy shield 0 damage stand in everything build though, so... I can't give it a 10... right...
Damage
9/10... It scales with bifurcated crit and
Emeralds are a thing. But
Spark/
Comet builds still exist so I need to be reasonable.
Speed
Probably an 8/10, you can respec the tank to sprint forever and ignore slows for speed mapping which takes it up to a 10/10.
