Build Overview

If you enjoy maces, have a few Divines to spare, and want to play a Molten Blast build with zero aiming required — this one’s for you.

The build uses the Heroic Tragedy Vorana jewel to offset the downsides of the recent Giant's Blood strength nerf, converting it into % increased Energy Shield instead. This is paired with a solid amount of Evasion for reliable defenses. Offensively, we Dual-Wield Two-Handed Maces with +skills and good flat damage, which significantly boosts our DPS.

When it comes to gear, we use Valako's Vice to convert our Fire damage into Lightning, which helps us proc Herald of Thunder more consistently for clear.

For weapons, prioritize high flat damage on prefixes and +6 to Attack Skills, Attack Speed on suffixes to smooth out the build. If possible, adding Onslaught on one of the maces as a third suffix greatly improves map clear.

For the rest of the gear, aim for Energy Shield/Evasion, enough attributes to meet requirements, and capped resistances. With more currency, you can start investing into Increased Rarity and extra flat damage on rings.

For charms, start with Freeze/Stun Immunity, and on a higher budget get Thawing Charm with The Fall of the Axe and Rite of Passage Cat/Stag/Wolf options.

On weapon swap, use a Crossbow with high Physical, Fire, or Lightning damage (Fire also converts to Lightning via Valako’s). The goal is to have enough damage to consistently Shock with Plasma Blast when swapping for bosses.

For Jewels:
Heroic Tragedy - Vorana.
Heart of the Well - With extra damage as on prefixes mostly.

For the rest you can either find a decent Megalomaniac or just get increased dmg/attack speed/chain from terrain rare jewels.

Until you can afford Rakiata's Flow you can get quality on Molten Blast , get Valako's Vice with corrupted lightning penetration and either get more pen on the tree or use Elemental Weakness.

How it Plays

For Map clear:
You are mostly just using Molten Blast and once you get Tailwind + Onslaught procs and later on Rite of Passage it starts to feel really good.

For Bossing:
Use Plasma Blast to apply the shock.
Use Shockwave Totem with Font of Rage and be close to it to get 30% more attack damage.
Use War Banner once you have enough glory.
Keep using Molten Blast.
