Build Overview

MJÖLNER THOR is perfect on Shaman as it scales Spell Damage from Rage through Druidic Champion and Mystical Rage using Forge Hammer like a REAL Thor!

The goal here is to stack multipliers for both Spells and Attacks and for defence we use Armor and Energy Shield.

Having enough Cold flat damage on rings and gloves you can use Herald of Ice to have even BIGGER explosions which would be ideal.

You are also Curse Immune thanks to Time of Need with this setup which also perfectly balances the life loss from Berserk!

The more damage we do with an attack (Forge Hammer in this case) the more ENERGY you get to trigger spells from Thundergod's Wrath.

Build Variants

This is a setup with Constricting Command with Surrounded mechanic which is still really good even after the nerf. You want the helm to have number 4 as that will require only 1 enemy around you (which is nonstop) to trigger Surrounded mechanic.

You can use Crown of Eyes instead but the tree would look a bit different.

It is basically attack versus spell base setup.

Controlled Metamorphosis near Blood Magic to get some crazy passives like Prism Guard, Vengeful Fury and Projectile Bulwark.

Prism of Belief Forge Hammer - the more damage you do with an attack the more energy you gain to trigger spells in Thundergod's Wrath.

From Nothing allocation around Chaos Inoculation to get Invocated Efficiency and spell damage nodes around.

Megalomaniac anything spell based I personally found one with Spellblade or attack passives work too.

Get as high Arc level as possible as that is the BEST way to scale Spells damage in general.

I am a big fan of ignite from Herald of Ash BUT with enough Cold flat damage as mentioned above you can use Herald of Ice which would be IDEAL.

1. Forge Hammer - our damage dealer both AoE and Single Target triggering spells from Thundergod's Wrath

2. Volcanic Fissure - use before Boss spawns as our 3. will trigger these fissures for extra damage and Rage gain

3. Shockwave Totem - to trigger 2.

4. Sigil of Power - to amplify Arc and other spells in Thundergod's Wrath
