This build makes use of the skill "Doom Blast" which is triggered by the curse support: Impending Doom. We also make use of Doedre's Undoing. We easily able to scale these support gem levels to level 40, which means Doom Blast deals 4655 - 8645 base damage, and the frogs from Doedre's deal 3246 - 6029 base damage.
Both of these spells have a low base crit of 7%. Being a Blood Mage means we can more than double our base crit thanks to
Sunder the Flesh allowing us to further scale crit damage. In addition to this, we are also mana stacking with
Archmage and using
Mind Over Matter to convert our mana into a massive Effective hit pool. We use
Blasphemy with
Temporal Chains as an extra defensive layer. We are easily able to reach 100% crit chance using
Thaumaturgic Generator and
Charge Regulation
How the skill works:
Normally, for Doomblast to trigger, you would need to have a curse expire on a enemy. This would ordinarily be frustrating due to the delayed damage, but there is an interesting way to bypass this:
When using Spell Cascade, with enough increased Curse AoE, and a form of cursed ground (in our case, this is granted by Doedre's Undoing) when Spell Cascade is triggered, it will overwrite the cursed ground, which counts as the curse expiring and thus triggering Doom Blast. Doedre's also lets us spawn a whole bunch of frogs that will jump out at enemies and explode for massive chaos damage.
I will keep the build guide updated as I continue to push it and invest more currency.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
Please do not play this build if you are on a tight budget. There are a number of very expensive components required in order for this build to function, and feel comfortable to play (I appreaciate that many people will say this is playable on a budget - This guide is not intended to be budget friendly, Price check all of the below items before you commit to the swap):

FAQS
Q: Why are you not instilling
Invigorating Grandeur?
A: I am aware of the tech with
Parry + Zerphi's Infamy +
Invigorating Grandeur. I have tested it, and in my experience, it is somewhat overkill. I haven't had issues with just pushing my life flask.
Q: Can I use
Headhunter or
Mageblood
A: Yes
Q: How much does this build cost?
A: I can't give an accurate estimate due to price fluxations in the market. My estimate would be around 1200 to 1400 divines. Please price check accordingly before switching to this build.
Q: Why aren't you running
Cast on Critical?
A: Impending Doom can't generate energy for it. So unless you want to cast some spells, I don't see the point.
Q: Can I use x persistant buff instead of
Blasphemy
A: Feel free to use any persistant buffs you want. None are requred for the build to function, apart from
Archmage and
Mana Remnants
Q: I have a question thats not listed here, what can I do?
A: Feel free to join the Discord - we have a very active community and I can answer any issues you might have on there.
