Post Creation Edits Will Be Included Here At The Top

Up To Date POB With Any Changes Ive Made (Hollow Palm Currently) - https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/10035

Both Variants Updates
- Ailment Threshold Maps Are NOT Your Friend For Either Of These Builds Particularly The Hollow Palm Variant Struggles More. However, To Be Clear Both Builds Can Do Them But Via Brute Force But You Are Unlikely To See Many Big Explosions.

- Huge Potential Improvement - (Optional) Particularly for those of you that werent able to snag a Megalomaniac before the price went to the moon a really solid idea is to forego the extra jewel socket for just more defensive/damage nodes - This is primarily helpful for the hollow palm variant which could definitely benefit from the extra tankiness but it can also be helpful for the qstaff variant as well.
- Rite Of Passage Gold Charm With Spirit of The Owl Is A Massive Improvement To The Build. Some of the other spirit options are also good but this one for the price seems hard to beat. - Different spirit effects
- High Alert notable is a great option if you feel like you are getting stunned too much/just want more defense. For the hollow palm setup specifically I dropped Chakra of Thought and the points leading up to it for this. The 1 additional point I would put in a small EV/ES node or potentially a stun threshold node near Abasement (top right of the tree)
- Elemental Expression can be replaced with I am the Thunder... for both more damage and it will result in a much lower mana cost per second average while mapping. Elemental Expression is kind of mana hungry once you have a lot of attack speed.
- If you are still having mana issues after using either a Greater Mind Rune for the qstaff variant or have a ring with mana leech for the hollow palm variant you can try to find 3 extra passive points to take Conservative Casting and the 2 mana cost efficiency nodes leading up to it which will help a lot.

Hollow Palm Variant Updates
- (Hollow Palm specific) Staggering Palm can be made significantly more consistent by replacing Stun 2 with Stun 3 and then the last 2 supports can be ailiths chimes + culmination or heavy swing + Heft (Both options seem to be working fine)
- With a gooder enough chest piece that gets you up to 241 spirit you can drop staggering palm altogether and replace it with Ghost Dance if you dont like the way staggering palm feels.

Qstaff Variant Updates
- (Qstaff variant specific) Falling Thunder can replace Flicker Strike for a more consistent approach to bossing (I havent fully tested this so its a bit of an assumption but Im pretty confident, @me in discord if you find this to be incorrect)
- (Qstaff variant specific) If you have enough crit chance on your weapon/generally you are overcapped on crit then you should heavily consider getting rid of Moment of Truth and the 2 nodes before it and look for something better. There are a lot of potential places these 3 points could go but Beastial Skin, small EV/ES nodes or looking for more atk speed somehow are good candidates.

WORK IN PROGRESS - WORK IN PROGRESS - WORK IN PROGRESS - WORK IN PROGRESS

YOU CAN EXPORT ITEMS FROM THE TRADE SITE INTO PATH OF BUILDING TO SEE IF ITS WORTH BUYING AND OR WILL RESULT IN DPS/DEFENSIVE IMPROVEMENTS (Download This Extension - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/poe2-trade-item-exporter/kilkeofnehhbhnkdmjbdhhcjgiimojfc)

YOU NEED TO ADJUST THE LEVEL REQUIREMENT AND MAX PRICE YOURSELF, I HAVE SET "DEFAULT" AMOUNTS FOR BOTH OF THESE BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR BUDGET IS OR WHAT LEVEL YOUR CHARACTER IS :)

Gloves - Attack speed, socket effect and triple flat damage roll prefixes are mandatory/highest priority IMO. For the final suffix, you can either get rarity, critical damage bonus OR +2 melee skills - However, the +2 melee skills is not actually all that important for this build because most of our mapping damage comes from heralds which are not actually melee skills so personally Id prefer crit damage or rarity. And gloves without Melee skills can be used for a plethora of other builds too which is nice. KEEP IN MIND THAT VERY EXPENSIVE TRIPLE SOCKET GLOVES ARE NOT MANDATORY BUT DO IMPROVE CLEAR SPEED/EFFICIENCY - THEY DONT MAKE OR BREAK THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE BUILD.

Amulet - (Anoint Subterfuge Mask or Patient Barrier seems to be the best IMO - Stormcharged would be fine as well) If youre trying to min max there isnt much wiggle room here other than swapping crit mods for resistances or rarity but that would be infinitely more expensive because there is no easy way to craft amulets that way. Also, the crit mods are definitely better anyways if you can supplement your resistances elsewhere which you should. +level of melee skills probably shouldnt be skipped here unlike the gloves 1.) because its cheap and easy to craft with level of melee skills and 2.) because we still want some amount of +levels to our falling thunder for bosses

Ring - Ideally you should just be getting one insane ring with massive resists/flat damage and you should put a priority on flat cold damage especially with the hollow palm setup to help with freezing.

Mana Leech Ring - Since we no longer can use a Greater Mind Rune in our weapon we are back to needing a singular mana leech ring which also means no Kalandra's Touch anymore. This ring should be very similar to your other ring but you just need one suffix to have mana leech. Flat dmg/resists are the priority outside of that.

Belt - Headhunter or Darkness Enthroned with attack speed runes are just the best all around options for most content IMO, for bossing IF YOU WANT TO MIN MAX you should use Ingenuity Instead but I never make this swap cause its not necessary.

Body Armour - Giga Energy Shield + Evasion is top priority (or just evasion or just energy shield if you dont want to use a hybrid chest piece). This is also the only armour item that can get Faster Start Of Energy Shield Recharge as a stat so I prioritize it pretty highly.

Helmet - Giga Energy shield is top priority. Outside of that I would personally just do resistances and rarity, but if you really want to or feel like you need to then crit chance is a solid option here as well.

Boots - However much movespeed you want (not important for hollow palm at all), then high ES + Evasion. After that just usual stuff like res, attributes, or if you want to min max you can go for deflection rating. It also goes without saying that you can go for an exceptional pair with Socket effect and movespeed runes but thatll cost 80+ div roughly for an actual solid pair.

From Nothing - (Now we want a walker of the wilds jewel) These are a bit more expensive than the zealots oath one from before but not TOO costly.

Heart Of The Well - This trade link should help you find really good combos of stats for as cheap as possible. We really want Gain chaos and Gain cold here to help with freezing/herald of ice having enough chaos damage to actually break armour.

Megalomaniac - These have gone up in price 100x since my first video, so unfortuantely there arent many left and they are very expensive, you can try to get creative and add in different notables to find cheaper ones that still have one of the good area of effect passives though. Or just settle for a 1 mod only megalo but that probably wouldnt be better than just a regular sapphire.
- Ideally you get one that either has Impact Area or Primal Growth and then one of the other notables that I have setup in the filter, but there are like 4 of those in the world so I wouldnt worry about it too much. Just use the filter, do a little bit of window shopping and find a solid one - we are just using this to get additional attack speed and area of effect.

Against The Darkness - Gain cold and Chaos is what we need here, primarily the chaos to be fair but the cold also really helps. Unfortunately these will probably get really expensive really quickly :/

Piety's Mercy IS 100% ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY ON HERALD OF THUNDER - WITHOUT THIS SUPPORT GEM THE CHAIN EFFECT BETWEEN Herald of Ice AND Armour Explosion WILL NOT FUNCTION BECAUSE HERALD OF THUNDER WILL BE STEALING THE KILLS AND THE KILLS HAVE TO HAPPEN FROM A "NON HERALD ATTACK HIT" AKA Armour Explosion.

I am currently undecided as to whether or not I think Staggering Palm is mandatory/the best choice - technically with a better chest piece we could get enough spirit to replace it with Ghost Dance and that might be better in the future. While using Staggering Palm Id recommend experimenting between ailiths chimes + Culmination vs Heavy Swing + Heft to see which feels better. Just move Ailiths Chimes and Culmination back to Qstaff strike when you do this.

How The Herald Chain Works - In summary, Herald of Ice chains with itself thanks to Armour Explosion - specifically, herald of ice explosion happens, then armour explosion and Herald of Thunder happens which freezes and triggers herald of ice explosion again etc etc, they just ping pong back and forth infinitely (technically its just armour explosion and herald of ice that go infinitely). This is made possible in our build via Uul-Netol's Embrace support gem and then getting sources of Gain %of damage as chaos damage.

For Hollow Palm The easiest and recommended sources of this are a Heart of the Well with gain chaos and an Against the Darkness with gain chaos and gain cold (paired with the walker of the wilds From Nothing and getting all the notables around there). Those two before should be enough and are for my current setup but if its not you can also use Pure Chaos passive notable, and you can even replace Magnified Area I with Chaos Attunement but thats not super ideal and should only be done in budget setups IMO. This video sheds a little more light on the topic and explains things pretty well - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdctEfnNM18

Make sure you have at least 211 spirit for all spirit skills (COC Quality only gives you back 9 spirit instead of 10)

Tempest Flurry NEEDS TO BE KEPT AT A DECENTLY LOW LEVEL TO HELP WITH MANA (ESPECIALLY FOR HOLLOW PALM ITS MANDATORY) - Mine is currently a level 6 skill gem + my melee levels from gear.

Mapping Gameplay Loop

- Start the map and kill a few packs by just using Tempest Flurry and Staggering Palm, this will charge up and use your Cast on Critical which will trigger Profane Ritual which will give you power charges. Use these power charges on Charged Staff and you are good to go :)
- You also now get power charges from building up combo with Tempest Flurry and expending them on Staggering Palm so this is an easier/quicker way to get the build going at the beginning of a map!
- From this point onward your Charged Staff will be freezing/shocking enemies which will proc your infinite herald chain from Herald of Ice & Armour Explosion & Herald of Thunder - You dont actually need to hit anything with Tempest Flurry you only need to hit them with the projectiles from Charged Staff.

Bossing Gameplay Loop -

- Start the boss fight (Ideally with Charged Staff still running), smack the boss like 30-40 times with Tempest flurry to build up combo for and ultimately then use Staggering Palm + Ailith's Chimes. This will give you power charges which are then used for Falling Thunder which will one shot map bosses, empowered map bosses, pinnacle bosses, and should even one shot Uber Arbiter but I havent tested it on hollow palm yet just to be clear.

OPTIONAL TEMPEST FLURRY SUPPORT GEM SWAP

For Mapping Crescendo II is better and for bossing Practiced Combo is better, but you dont need to swap these if you dont want to and could just keep Practiced Combo in at all times.

Edit: You should use both supports listed above and not use Pinpoint Critical in Tempest Flurry I believe.

PLEASE REFERENCE THE PASSIVE TREE IN THE POB LINK TO SEE WHATS GOING ON WITH OUR Against the Darkness + From Nothing JEWELS. THIS MOBALYTICS PASSIVE PLANNER DOES NOT CURRENTLY REFLECT THESE.

IF YOU ARE A LOWER LEVEL THAN 96 AND DONT HAVE AS MANY PASSIVE POINTS THEN ME THEN THATS FINE! LISTED BELOW ARE SOME OF THE LOWEST PRIORITY PARTS OF THE TREE THAT YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT :)

However, the hollow palm version of the build is a little more point hungry than the qstaff version just something to keep in mind so id try to recommend being around level 90 at least before you swap to this.

Chakra of Thought (not mandatory)
Agile Succession (Not mandatory)
Chakra of Impact (Not mandatory for mapping, but does help a lot on bosses)

On the hollow palm setup we are now taking Chaos Inoculation - I still dont think this is mandatory but specifically for hollow palm since we now need a mana leech ring it does help with reaching resistance cap a lot easier.
