Shattering Palm are all utalized to great effect by this build alternating between a melee and ranged skill obliterate maps and all bosses this game has to offer.
We exceed at speed, AoE and single target with the only requirement being the use of 4 core uniques and a few additional only to boost performance accordingly. The biggest drawback of this build is its low total health pool, however,
Way of the Mountain in combination with
Lightning Coil and the new ward mechanic is making this build remarkably tanky.
Using this many uniques also poses a problem when trying to cap out resistances. However,
Runic Meridians takes care of this problem completely, even freeing up slots later to slot in additional unique runes, soulcores and idols into our gear for maximum defenses and damage.

As for gear requirements, we are looking to use two
Unset Ring to be able to slot in 2 additional skills. Those are
Wind Dancer and
Killing Palm.
Killing Palm starts to be worth it with your 4th asendancy point allowing you to pick up
Hollow Focus Technique.

Spirit Requirements:
The more the better, but you should aim for at least 40 to be able to slot in all spirit gems. Additional spirit can be used for supporting gems on your auras for mana regen, ailment threshold reduction and more. In the endgame you can obtain an additional 10 spirit permanently through the new expedition maps resulting in 110 total. All gems in this build net to 150 spirit required wihtout any reductions.
Mechanics overview:
- Frenzy charge sustain:
Scold's Bridle converts a % of your skill cost to physical hit damage,
Lightning Coil converts a % of that physical damage to lightning damage, which triggers
Valako's Roar. The duration of
Valako's Roar has to be reduced with
Bijouborne to optimize uptime on Frenzy charges. - The Titan Valley charm reward provides you with additional charm charge gain, which we combine with
Bijouborne and the
Soul Core of Opiloti in your helmet. Which will ensure optimal uptime of charms. - We further utalize
Combat Frenzy with Charge Profusion II and various other supports to generate even more frenzy charges, which are crucial for additional uptime during boss fights
- Power charge sustain
Cast on Charm Use with
Profane Ritual which is gained through the
Bijouborne belt
Killing Palm provides us with another source- Charge Profusion II and additional supports provide us with additional sources
- Herald chaining and Endurance charge generation
Fists of Stone with flat physical damage provide us with extra physical damage which is a requirement for herald chaining. - Armour Break III triggers on dealing physical damage, which in turn also has a change to generate endurance charges.
- Once armour is broken Armour Explosion triggers dealing a separate instance of fire damage which can receive additional extra damage through extra cold damage, which is also obtained through either a
Heart of the Well or through cold damage on gloves which will be converted to extra cold damage through
Fists of Stone. - Charge Profusion II also provides us with additional endurance charges
Charge Regulation Useage:- this buff provides us with very strong buffs, namely a 26% more crit chance buff, 25% skill speed buff, and 20% more defenses such as evasion and armour based on the charges we keep on us.
- Damage and combat mechanics:
Glacial Lance and
Barrage both consume Frenzy charges for extra damage and casts, which makes it crucial to sustain those charges continously. - Pursuit III and Retreat III are continuously triggered by alternating between
Shattering Palm and
Glacial Lance. - Frozen enemies receive a greatly increased amount of damage through passives like
Biting Frost and
Deep Freeze. We aim to use
Barrage enhanced
Glacial Lance during this window and finish the burst phase with a well aimed
Glacial Cascade. - Aim
Glacial Cascade slightly behind enemy models to hit them both with the line and ice spike at the end, resulting in absurd damage. - We stack damage buffs through
Freezing Mark, Thrill of the Kill II, Rage III, Blazing Critical, Ice Bite II and shock.
