[0.4] Galvanic Shards Witchhunter (w/ Boneshatter Movement) - Endgame Build Guide

Lineage support gem priority is Arjun's Medal for Galvanic Shards, Rigwald's Ferocity for Boneshatter, then Rakiata's Flow for Plasma Blast, Garukhan's Resolve when you can manage it for Plasma Blast again. Dialla's Desire is completely optional for Boneshatter and only increases your Attack Speed. Brutus' Brain and Romira's Requital are incredibly affordable for the Companion: {0}. We get a Diretusk Boar from the "Troubled Camp" inside of the Infested Barrens in Act 3. You can checkpoint refresh the Diretusk Boar spawn point until it has the prefix "Haste Aura" this gives you an increase in Attack Speed for your Crossbow skills in Weapon Set II. If you don't know how to get a companion you need a Level 9 Skill Gem and we are using this for Tame Beast. Use Tame Beast once you've found the Diretusk Boar you want then kill the monster to turn it into your Companion: {0}. You can reduce the 39% Spirit Reservation with Gemcutter's Prisms.

In the tooltip of your skills you can pop out a carrot on the right side and manually bind their Weapon Set Slots (it looks like this >)

Weapon Set I

Boneshatter (this has synergy with Rigwald's Ferocity and is our primary source of movement)

Wind Dancer (debuff the monsters in case the Boneshatter pulls us into enemies)

Weapon Set II

Galvanic Shards (is our primary source of clear, make sure to use Arjun's Medal and if your Desolate Crossbow does not have "Loads 2 additional Bolts" on suffix you can swap out Stoicism II for Ratha's Assault)

Emergency Reload (press this moments before Plasma Blast in Boss arenas or at any time to add a 1.3x multiplier to all of your Crossbow Bolt Damage. This Skill works with Plasma Blast, Shockburst Rounds, and Galvanic Shards)

Plasma Blast (is step two in our Bossing setup, this is not to be used on Rare Monsters, Rakiata's Flow is incredible as a single target option and Ambrosia II has great synergy with our double flask setup. Garukhan's Resolve is great for our Critical Hit Chance, Heft is a good alternative to either of these. I do not recommend Elemental Focus because it has no synergy with Shockburst Rounds or Inexorable Critical II. This skill is always accompanied with Emergency Reload)

Shockburst Rounds (this is used after Plasma Blast and is the follow up after we apply a boosted shock. You can usually get 2-3 magazines worth of damage before you need to Plasma Blast again. Alternatively if you have no 2 second window to charge Plasma Blast you can apply a lesser shock with Galvanic Shards to continue to use Shockburst Rounds)

Herald of Thunder (has inherent synergy with Zealous Inquisition and should NOT be used on Weapon Set I)

Herald of Ash (also has inherent synergy with Zealous Inquisition and should NOT be used on Weapon Set I)

Companion: {0} (DISABLE THIS ON WEAPON SET I. When you are done attacking with Boneshatter to move and it is time to deal damage the Companion: {0} will spawn right next to you, this has synergy with Presence Present and Minion Pact II. We use a Diretusk Boar with Haste Aura on prefix, the Companion skill gem has the Minion tag and inherent synergy with Chaos Inoculation and Minion Pact II, Brutus' Brain does not interfere with this interaction. Read above for information on where (and how) to catch the Diretusk Boar with the Level 9 Tame Beast Skill Gem. Equip Romira's Requital before Brutus' Brain, we have no way of testing whether or not it works but we might as well use it just in case)
