Build Overview

This is my leveling setup, can be done on both Ranger or Huntress if you want an easy and SSF viable way to do campaign in 0.4 - Below is a link to my endgame setup that is also updated for 0.3

The transition requires very little gold, but be sure not to gamble away all of it so you can respec your tree to the new build.

At lvl 11 you should be looking for a Warden Bow with 2 sockets, this will be a decent dps upgrade. Use some currency to craft it, but make sure to keep most of your currency for yourDualstring Bow bow craft at lvl 28.

You still want to focus on flat damage throughout the whole campaign it's just not as important as it was in act 1. It's still extremely important to always use movement speed boots, even if they're low level.

Besides that you're just looking for life/resist on gear, but flat damage is the most important.

!!!!Important!!!!!
Always salvage weapons with quality for whetstones and always salvage items with sockets for artificers orb, this is extremely important for gear upgrades throughout the campaign.

Frost Bomb is used to lower boss resistances. Try to pre-place before a boss spawns and keep up the stacks as it adds a lot of dps. Keep in mind a lvl 3 Frost Bomb will only work on bosses lvl 25 or below, so you will eventually drop it as you don't have the int to keep lvling the skill. Once you have Voltaic Mark, you can drop frost bomb for less buttons.

for Lightning Rod you can either use Concentrated Area or Lightning Attunement, this just depends on your gear (if you have a bunch of fire damage/cold damage to attacks, than Lightning Attunement loses a lot of value). Once you get your 1st orb for a 4 link, you want to add on Multishot II.

On Lightning Arrow you want to swap Innervate for Chain II on bosses. (if your rod is only 3 link, than swap Lightning Attunement). - Note only do this when your lightning rod is 4 linked with Multishot II, otherwise chain doesn't feel good to use.

Barrage can be used to quickly setup rods or burst down a boss on spawn (pre-place rods into barrage Lightning Arrow)

Electrocuting Arrow is only used for bosses and has a 25 second duration, so it's a set and forget type of skill, it does get consumes on electrocuting an enemy, but bosses should die in the 1st one.

Voltaic Mark combos with Electrocuting Arrow, giving you extra lightning damage when you electrocute an enemy. Same deal here, only use it for bosses.

How it Plays

Lightning Arrow and Freezing Salvo to clear packs. Depending on your damage, you'll want to use Lightning Rod once into a Barrage > Lightning Arrow for rares.

On bosses use Freezing Salvo on cooldown and place down multiple Lightning Rod(usually aim for 8-10 on bosses, can pre-fire them on most bosses).
After that you're spamming Lightning Arrow and using Barrage on cooldown.

How it Works

Quest rewards to take:

1) charm recharge - act 2
2) stun threshold from venom reward - act 3
3) tattoos - lightning resist/int/fire resist - act 4
4) boon - movement speed - interlude

Deadeye Ascendancy points:

In order: Gathering winds > Point blank > Endless munitions.
