A very tanky version of the popular Gemling Attribute stacker, utilizing Atziri's Disdain with Gemling's massive life pool to become extremely tanky. Keep in mind that attribute stackers aren't a cheap build and aren't a starter build as well, you'll need a decent amount of currency for this build.
Fubgun's Attribute Stacker

Build Overview
Build Variants
Will require a decent budget. I go over the budget cuts you can make in the descriptions below.

Equipment

Weapon: You'll want a Pillar of the Caged God with "8% increased attack speed enchant" or "12% increased damage per 10 strength". For a cheaper option you can buy a 3 socket pillar. Use attack speed runes.
You'll also want a 2nd pillar in your weapon swap, read below the skill gems to understand the setup.
Helmet: This build requires an Atziri's Disdain with 30 or 20 spirit corruption. This helmet provides all of your energy shield. You can use a helmet with lower spirit, but you'll have to drop Precision. On an extremely low budget setup you can also try
Black Sun Crest for way more dps.
Body Armour: You want a Morior Invictus with %attributes and %elemental resistance. Be careful when buying, a lot of people try to scam.
Belt: Ingenuity is your best in slot here, get the highest % you can afford.
Rings: Depending on your budget you either want breach rings with double rarity and 2 attributes rolls or single rarity and triple attribute, the more geared you are the easier it is to drop attributes for more rarity. (use attribute catalyst). Ideally you want one ring with flat fire damage so you can ignite your bell for 30% more damage and one ring with flat cold damage to freeze your bell, also 30% more damage and ice bite proc. You also might need all resist here if you can't get grand spectrums.
Amulet: Astramentis is best in slot here, although very expensive. As a budget option you can get an amulet with triple attributes on the suffix, rarity on prefix and %maximum energy shield.
You want to Anoint Spaghettification or
Wild Storm.
Cheaper option: Blurred Motion
Boots: Movement speed is not mandatory on boots, but does feel good to have. Other useful prefix are energy shield and mana. For suffix you want rarity/chaos res/intelligence. Note: If you can't afford 3 Grand spectrums then you'll need triple elemental resist on your boots. Another option is getting one all resist roll on your ring
Gloves: Hand of Wisdom and Action are mandatory for the build. Eventually you'll want corrupted ones with 4% attack speed and 1-12 lightning damage.
Flask: You want to eventually get a Melting Maelstrom, this flask is extremely powerful when combined with
Mind Over Matter. Pretty much acting as an instant full life recovery flask. Before you have
Melting Maelstrom, you'll want to use a lower lvl tempest flurry to avoid mana issues.
use 5% to all elemental resistance soul cores until you're capped. After capped elemental resist, you can either use chaos res soul cores or rarity.
You'll also need a few unique jewels that I'll talk about under the skill tree, make sure to read it as it's very important.

Skill Gems
Support Gem Requirements:
Str 25
Dex 65
Int 60

Tempest Flurry

Tempest Bell

Grim Feast

Herald of Thunder

Herald of Ice

Charged Staff

Combat Frenzy

Cast on Shock

The links are in priority, feel free to drop the last gem on any 6l if you can't afford it. You want Tempest flurry/Tempest bell as your 6l priority.
!!!!!! Important !!!!!!!
You want a 2nd Pillar of the Caged God with 12% per 10 str corruption and socket in 2 15% elemental pen runes, this will be your bossing weapon. (Both for pinnacle bosses and mapping boss if your damage is low.)
In your skills tab you'll enable cast on shock for your 2nd weapon swap only and you'll only enable your herald of ice/herald of thunder in your 1st weapon. This way you can easily swap weapons and have max boss dps.
On Pinnacle bosses you'll want to replace Inspiration with Ice Bite, this is a huge dps increase so don't forget this swap. Inspiration will go in cast on shock. This is only needed for bosses like Arbiter and Xesh.
Reminder to use a level 13 Eye of Winter otherwise you'll rapidly drain your mana.
If you need more boss damage then socket in a 2nd Tempest Bell. You can place down both bells and this will drastically increase your boss dps.
The 2nd bell supports would be Leverage, Rising Tempest, Hourglass, Supercritical and Immolate (don't need 6 link if you want to save currency)
Keep in mind that if you don't have Melting Maelstrom then you'll want to use a lower lvl tempest flurry, otherwise you might run into mana issues.
If you don't have flat fire damage on a ring you'll have to use Fire Infusion on Charged Staff to ignite your bell for 30% more damage. (Replace cull). Another option is to replace one rune in your staff for flat fire damage.
It's important you're always shocking, freezing and igniting for your Tempest Bell to get maximum damage. You'll need one ring with flat cold damage to freeze and you'll always have enough lightning damage through
Hand of Wisdom and Action.
If your Atziri's Disdain only has 20-29 spirit and not 30, then you'll have to drop precision from your links.

Passive Tree
!!!! Important Unique Jewels !!!!
You'll want 3 "Grand spectrums" with "+4% To all elemental Resistances" this will easily solve your resist with your Morior Invictus. If you can't afford the grand spectrums you'll have to get triple res boots, this will make chaos resistance really hard to get.
You want to place your "against the darkness" unique by the Unbound Forces jewel socket.
Note: You want a %Dexterity/%Intelligence Against the Darkness. 2nd best option is %Dexterity/%Strength. Other options are %str/int, %dex/damage as extra lightning or as extra cold. (just buy what you can afford).
For the rest of your jewels you have 2 options. You can either go the more expensive adorn setup or cheaper rare jewel setup (adorn is a lot better).
Expensive setup: The adorn: you'll want at minimum 80% on your adorn and all corrupted magic jewels with "Increased maximum energy shield" and either "increased critical damage bonus" or "increased critical hit chance". You'll also want one jewel with "Recover 2% of mana on kill". Try to get any useful enchantment if you can afford it, since adorn will affect it.
(if you go adorn, take the 2 jewel nodes below mind over matter and drop throat seeker)
Cheaper Option: Rare jewels: A significantly cheaper option will be using rare jewels instead of the adorn setup. You'll want every rare jewel to be "Increased maximum energy shield", "increased critical damage bonus" and "increased critical hit chance". Get one mana on kill jewel as well. Other good affixes are "increased Magnitude of Ailments you inflict", "increased elemental damage" and "of Damage is taken from Mana before Life"
Before taking Mind Over Matter you'll also want one life on kill jewel. (this isn't required once you take MoM).
I would only take Mind Over Matter if you have a
Melting Maelstrom. Otherwise mana sustain can be really rough. Remember to keep your tempest flurry at a lower level if you have mana issues (lvl 14 is fine).
If you have Melting Maelstrom then drop
Lucidity and
Careful Assassin to have enough points to travel over to
Mind Over Matter
Small Attribute nodes: Your attribute prio is dexterity > int > str. Generally you want to keep Int/Str equal and dexterity way higher to get really fast attack speed. Read below for more details on attributes.
How it Works
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do you move so fast/how do you increase your speed?
Tempest Flurry goes faster with the more attack speed you have and you directly scale attack speed from dex, so getting more and more dexterity will vastly increase your speed. Movement speed has no affect on how fast you go with this build.
- How do you freeze?
Herald of thunder with all the support gems combined can easily freeze anything. We're also using shock supports on herald of ice to make the heralds chain off each other, giving you massive clear speed. If you still need help freezing, then get 1 ring with flat cold damage. - What Venoms did you take in the campaign?
Stun Threshold in act 3 and Chaos Resistance in act 6. - How do I solve mana issues?
Try using a low level tempest flurry, all mana issues are solved once you eventually getMelting Maelstrom. It's mandatory to have one jewel with % mana on kill.
Attributes and which one should you prioritize?
- First understand which attribute does. Dexterity gives accuracy, strength gives life and intelligence gives mana.
- Through
Hand of Wisdom and Action and
Pillar of the Caged God this will then make intelligence give flat damage and AoE, strength increased damage and dexterity attack speed.
Falcon Dive also gives increased attack speed based on accuracy and
Atziri's Disdain will give energy shield based on life.
- So in the end you end up with Str = life/energy shield/increased dmg, Intelligence = mana/flat dmg/AoE and Dex = attack speed/Speed(since attack speed = movement)
So if you want speed you'll do dex > int > str
If you want Damage then go Int > dex/str
Your lowest attribute should always be within 20% of your 2nd lowest attribute.
Example speed setup: 1000 dex, 700 int and 600 strength.
Example DPS Setup: 850 int, 750 dex, 700 strength.
You can easily adjust your attributes through your passive tree.
