If you are reading this guide, then you are a person with a thirst for knowledge and don't mind learning from those who came before you. We want to acknowledge that the journey of exploration and discovery in a new game is a magical time, so we encourage you to embrace it. If you still want to continue reading, just recognize that these guides are exploratory and will likely change tremendously as the game changes and the player learns more. Good luck, Exile. If Jonathan and Mark are to be believed, you are going to need it.

You can also use mana tempest with empower and culling strike, but the damage added as lightning isn't significant due to diminishing returns and the mana drain can make you vulnerable.
Passive Tree
While leveling take arcane surge nodes first, next double shock, then extra exposure.
Prioritize damage and mana pool earlier, you will be squishy but very quickly you'll be able to offscreen and instantly kill enemies.
If you find yourself getting hit and dying you can use the electrocute gloves (https://poe2db.tw/us/Kitokos_Current) to apply potent crowd controls to the whole screen. (Including bosses)
How it Plays
Just walk through maps and tap your spark skill to clear screens, blink constantly for mobility, apply shocked ground with BL + LW on resistant or tanky enemies, set up curse / sigil / shocked ground for bosses, and pre-load sparks in the arena to blow them up.
Always be moving to maintain your mana regen and avoid getting hit.
How it Works
Archmage provides a bunch of lightning scaling, mana stacking gives us cast speed + mana regen (arcane surge scaling), along with huge amounts of added damage (archmage) and defense (MoM)
