Leveling 1-70 Frostbolt Comet Stormweaver

Leveling in Path of Exile 2 can feel a bit frustrating, especially for new players. However, cold builds offer an easier and safer experience, as freezing monsters keeps you out of harm's way!

The build reaches its full potential once you can craft "Cast on Freeze" and unlock Comet.
To proc a Comet every time you freeze an enemy, you’ll need:

• Cast on Freeze (Level 13 or higher)
• Impetus Gem

Key Tips

Support Gems (Levels 2 to 3)

• Prioritize improving your support gem capacity for Frostwall and Cast on Freeze.

Normal Act 3 - The Azak Bog

• Use the waypoint to The Azak Bog and defeat the boss.
• This rewards you with +30 permanent Spirit, allowing you to equip "Cast on Freeze."

Gear to Look For

• Look for a chest piece or amulet with Spirit stats to enable the use of Arctic Armour for added survivability, and consider using Blink for better mobility.
• Look for a weapon with + X level of all your cold spell skills

Mobbing

• Cast Frostbolt as you move to freeze enemies and trigger Comet to eliminate them.
• If needed, finish them off with Frostbomb and Coldsnap.

Boss Strategy

1. Apply Frostbite to the boss.
2. Cast a few Frostbolts.
3. Surround the boss with Frostwall.
4. Use Frostbomb for extra damage.
5. Alternate between Frostbolt and Eye of Winter to maintain pressure.

By this point, the boss should be frozen.

• Continue spamming Frostwall and Frostbomb, and finish the fight with Coldsnap.
