Build Overview

Cold melee Oracle Druid built around Lunar Assault, Arctic Howl to freeze enemies, generate ice fragments with Shred, and detonate them for massive burst damage with Cross Slash.

We use Pounce with Freezing Mark to help us freeze bosses faster, aswell as auras such as Herald of Ice for clearing. The best part is that we will be able to achieve 100% uptime on Lunar Blessing from the early endgame which will boost our damage even further.

Defensively this build is pretty weak so we will focus on a more Hybrid approach with Armor/Energy Shield aswell as looking out for Max Life and Regen.

This Guide will cover the full Campaign Leveling, early Endgame and gradually evolve into the late Endgame with constant updates.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Most Updated Version

You definitely want to transition from the Late Endgame to this version whenever you have more divines to spare and invest in this build.

  • We add Sine Aequo as our gloves for extra damage and an increase on buildup.
  • We add Wolf Pack into our abilities so we can have an extra Rare modifier which acts like a mini Headhunter
  • We also add Herald of Ash to assist with clear speed a bit better & Savage Fury for extra damage for either clearing or bossing.

New Additions:

  • We add Wolf Pack which helps with damage a ton since it acts like a mini Headhunter. However we need to get some spirit on the amulet to be able to run this one too.
  • We add Savage Fury so we can get even more damage when clearing and bossing. However you need to add this ability to Weapon Set 2 and leave everything else on Weapon Set 1.
  • We add Herald of Ash to help with clearing potential.

The Passive Tree is missing a lot of Nodes because Mobalytics & POB cannot support Entwined Realities. With this ascendancy node we will get a few Keystones which will unlock the ability to get nodes around them without pathing to them directly. Here's what we get:

  • With Blood Magic Keystone we get -> Prism Guard, Vengeful Fury, Projectile Bulwark, In Your Face & Cold Coat.
  • With Pain Attunement Keystone we get -> Desensitisation, Bringer of Order, Hide of the Bear, Molten Claw & Dimensional Weakspot
  • With @ancAncestral Bond we get -> Stormcharged, Dangerous Blossom, Scales of the Wyvern, Electrified Claw, Endlessly Soaring, Spirit of the Wyvern & Deadly Thorns

Oracle is the chosen ascendancy for this build due to its great endgame potential.

For your first 2 Ascendancy Points you should go into The Lesser Harm. It's not amazing but it provides a slight defensive increase. When you get your 3rd and 4th point then you can go for Forced Outcome. This will greatly improve your leveling as it will bring your Crits online a lot faster.

The Lesser Harm --> Forced Outcome is a much better start for leveling than going for The Unseen Path. The reason why is because you will be forced to path to areas which are close to some good hidden nodes. And although its something we will 100% get later on, its not ideal for leveling. Another good reason why it's not great as your 1st choice is that your 2nd choice will either have to be The Lesser Harm or Entwined Realities. None of these are great as your 2nd Ascendancy for leveling.

Mapping TLDR

  • Maintain Lunar Blessing permanently for increased damage and Moonbeams.
  • Use Pounce for faster clearing and mobility.
  • Use Lunar Assault as your main clear.
  • Use Savage Fury when you have 100%
  • Use Shred on frozen rares to generate Ice Fragments and kill them with Cross Slash
  • Herald of Ice helps with our shatters and clearing potential
  • Herald of Ash helps with the clear.
  • Wolf Pack helps with dmg and speed.
  • Barkskin keeps our defenses up which is why we need Energy Shield

Mapping Rotation:
Lunar Blessing -> Pounce -> Lunar Assault -> Savage Fury -> Lunar Blessing

Boss TLDR

  • Use Lunar Blessing in the beginning of the fight a second before the boss spawns.
  • Use Pounce on the boss to apply Freezing Mark
  • Spam Lunar Assault to freeze the boss.
  • When the boss is frozen use Savage Fury to empower your damage further.
  • Start spamming Shred to create Ice Fragments.
  • When you created enough Ice Fragments from Shred, use Cross Slash while the boss is still frozen to explode the fragments.

Bossing Rotation:
Lunar Blessing -> Pounce -> Lunar Assault -> Savage Fury-> Shred -> Cross Slash
