Build Overview

NERFED BUT IT'S STILL GOOD:

Fixed a bug which was causing "Elemental twisters Gain 50% of damage as damage of the corresponding Type" on Twister to gain an extra 50% for each Projectile fired. So one of the projectiles was gaining 50%, another 100%, another 150% and so on.

LEVELING: You can level as bleed with Rake and use Twister once you can use Barrage or try barrage earlier but it probably isnt great

You can use Rake and animation cancel it with Parry or Raise Shield to move very fast, the timing will be different between them, parry is a bit better

MOD PRIORITIES:

Spear: High phys rolls > Accuracy > any flat elemental damage should be fine tbh since twisters scale with all damage, so just get the highest dps weapon you can > skill level > crit dmg

Armour: Just life / res and some damage to attacks where you can get it

Rings: Same as armour

Amulet: Life / res or Beacon of Azis

Boots: Wake of Destruction or Birth of Fury but ideally wake of destruction to use herald of lightning, the reason you use these boots is because they make it so you dont have to press frostbolt so it's 1 less button press

Jewel: Proj damage / evasion / lightning damage / lightning pen / anything that will increase ur damage

Anoint True Strike or whatever u want this is just what i had the instilled emotions for

Choose the spirit gems you want, need defense? Take the defense ones. Want more clear? Take the clear ones. THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER

IMPORTANT TWISTER MECHANIC: If you use your twisters with less than 3 stacks of then whenever the twisters you've already used collide with your new whirling slash stacks it will consume them to make more twisters. This is detrimental to your single target dps on bosses as you wont be able to get a full twister combo out, so try to make sure to use it 3 times before popping . If your weapon is good and your dps is high enough intentionally using less than 3 stacks of can actually be good for clearing as you can just hold right click and keep spawning twisters to kill everything.

If your damage is feeling very inconsistent you can try using Inevitable Critical instead of Acceleration your crit chance is probably too low

Use the herald that matches the damage type you are doing, ex. if using Wake of Destruction use Herald of Thunder, if using Frostbolt use Herald of Ice, there is also potential for maybe a double herald if you put Lacerate on Twister, I have not tested it though.

Tame Beast should have good aura like haste or invulnerability, you can also use a monster with an elemental trail to buff your Twister if you want, but I'm wary of it in case the minion dies or uses weird pathing. You can farm a good companion in Jungle Ruins and find the camp that always spawns a rare, then reset at checkpoint until it gets good mods. It usually takes ~42% spirit reservation.

Optionally you can use Combat Frenzy with Electrocute on Twister and swap off either Persistence or Acceleration . That will generate some frenzy charges while clearing, probably not efficient on bosses though, going to look into more frenzy charge generation for bosses later.

Don't have enough spirit? Drop Precision / Cannibalism / Ghost Dance

If you want to clear with Lightning Spear you can and just use Twister for single target,

Lightning Spear supports would be Volt Perpetual Charge Twofold Bullseye Deliberation If you are going to clear with this you should use Kitoko's Current and Combat Frenzy

If you don't like Twisters you can do Storm Lance for single target - supports are Scattershot Blindside Primal Armament Lightning Infusion Overextend
