Build Overview

This leveling guide is taking use of Rake + Stomping Ground with strength stacking, utilizing a very OP animation cancel with Parry to make your rake hit way faster. The animation cancel is by holding down rake then pressing Parry multiple times per second (do not move your character manually, just use rake and parry or it will slow the combo down.) to make you move very fast along with attacking faster. When actually attacking a monster you should wait until you see the red rake slash come out to hit the enemy then parry. It takes some practice to get used to. Check the video guide for a demonstration.

The passive tree in this is for huntress, but it will work on any class, just pick up all strength nodes and path to attack / melee damage stuff in the area or path to the tree below, remember strength itself is more damage so it's not bad to just path to another part of the tree.

You get access to Rake at level 6, before this use Mist Whisper socketed with 2 lightning runes with Crossbow Shot + Scattershot + Martial Tempo

You do NOT need to upgrade Rake, just focus on strength for Stomping Ground

I wouldn't do this strat without leveling uniques with any character for damage, though using the Rake Parry animation cancel for movement alone will be good on an off-hand swap regardless of which character you pick on a complete fresh start

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Extremely fast
  • High Damage
  • Tanky From Strength Stacking
  • Lots of button spamming

Pretty much just path over to the main tree here from any other class and it will work, extra travel nodes aren't bad with this build since strength = more damage because of Stomping Ground
