Build Overview

THIS BUILD IS VIABLE FOR ALL MODES INCLUDING HCSSF & SOFTCORE.
(Make sure to use the Tracking Feature to Track the build while playing!)

In this written guide you will find multiple Build Variants depending on which stage in the campaign you are. The Sorceress has a really good start with choices such as Spark , Essence Drain or even Entangle and you will find ALL 3 VARIANTS below as well as an Endgame Variant too!

After completely obliterating ACT 1 and staying alive of course, we will then Ascend to Disciple of Varashta in ACT 2 and change our build to full minions. This is when this build goes fully online.

With Kelari, the Tainted Sands and Ruzhan, the Blazing Sword aswell as 6-7 different types of minions we will be unstoppable.

Build Variants

In the Endgame you should have around around 7-8 Types of minions and 2 Djins. The Djins we use are Kelari, the Tainted Sands and Ruzhan, the Blazing Sword.
The important types of minions to use are:
- Bind Spectre (Powered Zealot from Interlude 3 in Etched Ravine)
- Skeletal Warrior
- Skeletal Sniper
- Skeletal Arsonist
- Skeletal Reaver
- Skeletal Storm Mage
- Skeletal Cleric

HCSSF PRIORITY STATS:
The gear will be harder to intentionally target, however use the gear above to have a good checkmark as to what it is we need.

  • + Level of all Minion Skills | This is our number one priority as all our minions especially the DJINS will scale with. You can look for this mod on Helmet, Weapon, Amulet, Gloves.
  • Energy Shield & Resistances | This is super important too since survivability is mandatory if you are playing HCSSF.
  • Spirit | Try getting a good Scepter with high spirit to allow you to use more minions as it will increase your damage further. Body Armour and/or Amulets with spirit will help us further.

Even if you play Softcore the priority will stay the same but you can target it much better.

Just like any other Minion Build the Kelari, the Tainted Sands and Ruzhan, the Blazing Sworddamage scales with minion damage so things like Minion mods in the passive tree, Minion mods on our gear will significantly increase the damage. However there is one more way to scale the Djins damage and thats with the support gem called Muster which we can now get in ACT 3.

Muster and At your Command on our tree have the exact same effect which means that for EVERY TYPE of minion (not every individual minion but TYPE) we have it will increase our minions damage. Which is why we go for so many different type of minions.

With that in mind we want to add Muster on every minion we can especially our two Djins.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

  • Kelari, the Tainted Sands & Ruzhan, the Blazing Sword levels up with your character and its support gems unlocks based on your level.
  • Muster will eventually be added to each and every minion we have.
  • Spirit is a high priority stat as it allows us to run more minions.
  • We also want to utilize Bind Spectre with Powered Zealots in Interlude 3 Etched Ravine.
  • You dont need to use the command of every minion only the important ones, such as, Skeletal Sniper for the gas and ofcourse our main abilities from Kelari, the Tainted Sands & Ruzhan, the Blazing Sword

The priority here depends on how geared you are and how good your survivability is. Since we're going for HCSSF with this build, having a good balance between dmg and defense is mandatory. However some good nodes to consider prioritizing for damage would be At your Command and Lord of Horrors.

Ascendancy priority is as stated above. We get our 2 Djins first starting with Kelari, the Tainted Sands with Kelari's Deception into Ruzhan, the Blazing Sword with Ruzhan's Trap and then we go into Sacred Rituals for insane defense.

Atlas Tree

Main Mapping:
The choices we make here are purely for HCSSF efficiency as we need as much crafting material as we can to get better gear. Hence we go for Essence farming with nodes like Crystalline Growths Resonant Lattice and Harmonic Corruption.

Abyss Mapping:
Although a bit more dangerous for HCSSF specifically, Abyss can really help us as we can juice up our Essences via Abyss through the node Shadow of Undeath but also make sure we are getting more Desecrated Mats with Balance of Power into BlackBlooded.

Map Bosses:
This will increase the Map Bosses Power so BE CAREFUL. Crystal Realm helps with our Essence farm so if you feel powerless you might consider staying up until this point before juicing them further.

Ritual Mapping (Alternative):
Begin with Ominous Portents to get yourself some good omens for crafting or Omen of Resurgence for safety.

How it Plays

At this point we have a ton of minions who are tanking and dealing damage for us. We simply run around and use Kelari's Deception + Ruzhan's Trap to clear anything infront of us.

For bosses we have a bit of a setup going on, we want to hit the boss with Elemental Weakness + Frost Bomb and then use Ruzhan's Trap and spam Kelari's Deception x3. You can also use Gas Arrow from Skeletal Sniper if you need more damage.
