0.5 Plant Caster Disciple Sorc - Leaguestart to All Endgame Content

The Plant Caster Disciple of Varashta Sorc is a fantastic all-around character that crushes the campaign on day 1 and cruises all the day to endgame pinnacles with ease. Primarily using Entangle & Thrashing Vines + Thunderstorm which covers your screen in explosive purple flowers via Accelerated Growth II along with a Cast on Critical Bone Cage setup later on providing a ton of additional single target and defensive utility.

Earlygame: Our first few levels we use Essence Drain Contagion as it is the best combo before we get our hands on Thunderstorm about halfway through act 1, at which point we then rely more on Entangle. Focus on gear with +# levels of all spells / physical spells, %Spell Damage, maximum life, and resistances.

Mid-Campaign: Your first ascendency point will be Instruments of Power this allows you to wield both a staff AND a focus at the same time. Pick up an Effigy of Cruelty early on with 2-3 stacks of critical weakness, if you can't get your hands on one then use a focus with % increased spell/physical spell damage and/or +# level of all/physical spell skills.

Endgame start: Look to pick up some Nightscale gloves as you start picking up crit passives, these provide a huge amount of mana regen and crit and are a huge help to early mana costs. Look to find 30 Spirit on either your amulet or staff to fit both Convalescence and Cast on Critical.

Clear: Simply walk around and spam Entangle and keep it watered with the occasional Thunderstorm cast.

Maintain Thrashing Vines and Sigil of Power for Tanky Rares Early on & for Bosses.

Use Navira's Well and Convalescence to recover your Energy Shield as needed.
