Build Overview

This build was made in SSF, making it extremely budget-friendly while still delivering solid clear speed, satisfying bleed pops, and excellent bossing potential. Most of your enemies will be stunned as you bludgeon them to death and bleed them dry. You can experience the full power of bleed gameplay as early as level 15.

And most importantly — NO! Rake shenanigans required!

Build Variants

This is the final version of this build and also the most expensive one, mainly due to the cost of the weapon alone.

Equipment Priority

Look for gear with as much strength, resistances and life as possible.

You will need 417 str and 102 dex to wield the two handed Anvil Maul if you socket in Soul Core of Cholotl in your weapon.

If you wanna use a weapon like i m using Ironwood Greathammer or Massive Greathammer you need to get 35% reduced attribute in suffixes and you wont need to use Soul Core of Citaqualotl for these.

Look for weapons with as high physical damage as possible with atleast +6 to all melee skill gems. Stun build up is not a important stat to have but is very nice if you can get one with it.

Other then Runes in weapons and gloves do not copy any other, adjust the other runes according to your need.

Shield in the weapon set 2 should have as high armor as you can find and the weapon should have +6 to all melee skills and stun duration.

Important: In this version of build the mana cost gets crazy high so you need mana leech no matter what, whether you get it on ring, weapon or gloves. Also try to get atleast 600+ mana pool so you can comfortably use your skills, you can achieve this by getting flat mana on your gear or by increasing your int.

For very tough bosses such as Arbiter of Ash tier 4 you can swap out whole setup of Herald of Blood and Wind Dancer with Overwhelming Presence and Attrition, you will also need to remove Vitality and Cannibalism from Time of Need to fit these in.

Also while fighting pinnacle bosses swap out Brutality from Wind Dancer with Ingenuity from Shield Charge.

Heres the breakdown of which gems should be assigned to which weapon sets:

Weapon Set 1 - Mace Strike, Raise Shield, Rolling Slam, Boneshatter, Hammer of the Gods, Wind Dancer

Weapon Set 2 - Shield Charge

Weapon Set 1 and 2 - Herald of Blood, Time of Need, Seismic Cry, Bloodhound's Mark

A rare Time-Lost Ruby jewel should be socketed in jewel socket near Unbending, the must required stats are % increased bleed duration per allocated notable in radius and upgrades radius to large modifier. On top of these if you get % increased bleed magnitude per allocated notable then its the perfect combination.

And another rare Ruby jewel should have gain 1 rage on ht, increased block chance and increased chance to inflict bleeding.

How it Plays

The build has decent clear, 75% block, some armor and very satisfying bleed pops and can one shot most bosses.

How it Works


For this build we are scaling both bleed magnitude and stun buildup and since the Hulking Form provides 50% increased effect of all small passive skills it provides us huge boost for both of them.

Here's breakdown of the Boss combo for maximum damage while bossing:

1. Apply Bloodhound's Mark and use Seismic Cry to daze your target.

2. Use Shield Charge from a distance.

3. Use Rolling Slam till the target either becomes primed for heavy
stun or is heavy stunned.

4. If target is primed use Boneshatter otherwise move onto to next step.

5. Use Seismic Cry to empower your next slam.

6. Use Hammer of the Gods on the heavy stunned target.

7. While Hammer of the Gods is falling use Mace Strike to maintain
rage.

8. Once the target gets inflicted with bleed from Hammer of the Gods
while it heavy stunned use Mace Strike on it to aggravate the bleeding.


Note: Daze from Dazing Cry support only last for 4 secs so if you see that it has fallen off make sure to use Seismic Cry to daze your target again.

Extended skill tree to level 95 and revamped it heavily, Removed
From Nothing jewel as it wasnt giving us much anyways and
replaced it with a Time-Lost Ruby jewel socketed near
Unbending. Adjusted tree according to weapon set 1 and 2.

Fully Changed the boss combo to align with these changes.

Updated POB to latest version.
