Become a werewolf and shred your enemies with icy rage at lightning speeds!

This build uses Shred for insane DPS and Lunar Assault for huge AoE damage! With multiple defensive layers to boot, this build feels great through the whole game!

  • The Loot Filter is intended for End-Game mapping and is specifically designed for this build. It may filter out items that could be sold so it is more intended for SSF as it is.

Important Notes

  • The goal is to hit enough Ward that you no longer get Heavy Stunned during Refutation. For me this is around 500, but it will depend on any sources of Stun Threshhold, Maximum Life, and Ward. If you're using Morior Invictus then you should attempt to hit enough through Maximum Life, Warding Rune of Heart, Stun Threshhold from the choice in the campaign and in the Passive Tree, and from the other pieces of gear. There are defensive nodes nearby in the tree that scale from ES on boots or Armour on helm, so if you're using those then you wouldn't get Ward from those items. So decide according to your needs.
  • I choose "All Elemental Resistances" and "Chaos Resistance" on gear affixes in any place that I want you to potentially use for ANY Resistances that you happen to find. This is with the intention of hitting 75% on every Resistance.
  • Crown of Eyes should have +30 Spirit from Corruption ideally but a second socket can be solid too.
  • Be sure to hit the minimum Spirit required which is 160 total (60 from items). The chest armour alone can accomplish this, but the amulet is a solid option as well. Mystic Alloy from Expedition or Rune of the Blossom can also help.
  • In an ideal setup for Morior Invictus you'd want it with Chaos Resistance, Elemental Resistance, and Spirit per socket filled.
  • Doedre's Tenure will give about as much damage as a solid pair of gloves, so this can be used if you have it until you get a better rare pair of gloves. (This is only if you're using Crown of Eyes)

How it Plays

  1. Activate Infernal Cry to quickly gain Rage, Empower the next several attacks, get Shapeshifting bonuses, and if enemies are nearby apply Critical Weakness and Debilitate.
  2. Lunar Blessing can be used any time it's available for a huge damage boost and more AoE clear. This uses Rage so use Infernal Cry again directly after this to refill Rage quickly.
  3. Use Refutation to prevent the bulk of the damage or save it for when things are risky.
  4. Leap into combat with Pounce which will mark the strongest enemy allowing for Armour Break, faster Freeze, apply Shocked Ground for more damage, and deal some damage.
  5. Use Lunar Assault on groups of enemies to freeze and kill them. This works in combination with Herald of Ice for fantastic AoE clear and a snappy feel.
  6. Use Arctic Howl to freeze primed enemies and to gain a major buff to damage.
  7. Spam Shred on frozen or priority targets to deal damage.
  8. Use Cross Slash to detonate the fragments for burst or AoE (Only in certain variations of the build).
  • Eternal Rage will keep your Rage topped off which means longer Lunar Blessing and more damage.
  • Herald of Ice will passively cause explosions that will kill enemies.
  • Mana Remnants will cause enemies that you crit while frozen or kill to drop Remnants that can be picked up to refill Mana and Overflow to above maximum. Use your Mana Flask to fill any gaps in Mana.

How it Works

This build uses synergies between elemental damage, spell damage, attack damage, and freeze tech.

  • Crown of Eyes allows us to take advantage of Spell Damage nodes that we would otherwise not have the ability to use.
  • Rage benefits us in numerous different ways such as extending the duration of Lunar Blessing and enhancing our damage with its inherent bonus and Mystical Rage.
  • We're building multiple defensive layers with Mind Over Matter, Maximum Mana, Maximum Life, Energy Shield, Armour, and Ward.
  • Mana Remnants is constantly Overflowing our Mana which is very powerful for both resource sustain and survivability with Mind Over Matter.
  • Forced Outcome gives us 100% Critical Hit Chance by re-rolling until we get the crit. This comes at the cost of reducing Critical Damage per failure, but it is still a powerful DPS boost.
  • The Unseen Path allows us to use nodes that would otherwise never be available in the Passive Tree.
  • Entwined Realities gives us access to nodes around our Keystone Passives without needing to path to them which means more power with less investment.
  • Lunar Assault can easily Freeze enemies which we can chain with Herald of Ice for fantastic AoE goodness.
  • Shred deals insane single target damage which pairs nicely with the frozen enemies by creating Ice Fragments that deal additional damage.
