Build Overview

This build uses the Archmage Persistent Buff to provide a massive Lightning damage buff to Spark.

The build utilizes a high mana pool for both damage and survivability.

Gearing is fairly simple as you target the same mods on every item, getting them for cheap/crafting them is a different question.

Important Damage Mods:

  • +5 Spell Skills (Wand)
  • +2 Spell Skills (Focus)
  • +2 Spell Skills (Amulet)

Mods on Armour:

  • Energy Shield
  • Mana
  • Intelligence
  • Resistances (Don't need Chaos because Chaos Inoculation)

Spirit:

Try to hit +70 for Clarity + Blink for quality of life.

Jewels:

Look for useful modifiers, Intelligence, etc.

Rings:

Can opt to use a second Breach Ring over Dream Fragments if you want more damage/mana/res/etc. Cannot be Frozen is simply huge quality of life/survivability and the other stats are useful as well.

This tree looks to simply get as many stats and Jewel Slots as possible while picking up important Notables/Keystones.

Eldritch Battery + Mind Over Matter + Chaos Inoculation turns the character into a pure Mana character. 1 Life, no ES, all Mana.

More Intelligence = More Mana. More Energy Shield = More Mana.

How it Plays

Walk around the map, hold down Spark, and watch things die.

Blink if you need to get away from dangerous situations.

Orb of Storms for single target Rares/Bosses for Lightning Exposure and Shock Magnitude (from Support Gems)

Conductivity for more resistance shred.
