This guide is work in progress!

One of the strongest league starter! You can delete anything under seconds starting from level 31. Oil Barrage will take care from this point the single target damage and later when you have access tier 4 support gems it's become your clear skill as well.


Spirit walker will be perfect for this!


0.5 changes


Oil Barrage deals 10% less damage BUT we got the new ascendancy and a nice QoL change. 100% playable and maybe even more broken! Salvo getting changed this is the QoL! Now every second you will gain a stack instead every 2 second. The additional projectiles not chaged!


Ascendancy


I will start as spirit walker! currently the site and PoB not supporting waiting for update!


What Spirit Walker gives us?

It will provide us 33% less damage taken!

  • The bear ascendancy notable 8%
  • Starkonja's Head 15%
  • Loyalty 10%

6 extra projectile while we have full stack of owl! This will getting carried for the full duration of our channeling!

  1. Primal bounty (additional projectiles)
  2. Vivi Stampede
  3. Wild Protector
  4. Sacred Unity (this is free after you took all three spirit)
  5. The Mhacha's Gift

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Can "one shot" bosses
  • Budget friendly
  • Good clear
  • Kinda squishy (early on)
  • Visual clarity

Build Variants

I suggesting to level with Lightning Arrow and Lightning Rod. You can do bear as well BUT you will struggele because you dont have any Ranged skill early on.


Take STR and INT attributes early so you can use talismans.

Equipment

Equipment Priority

Weapon:

Early on looking HUGE flat damage. (any)

Little later on (act 3+) we want physical damage on our weapon the higher the better!


Boots:

Movement speed is the most important stat on this even if your item not give you anything only movement speed use that. Moving faster is better than like 10 life.

  2. Life
  3. Resistances



Amulet:

Life and resist mostly. But any mod combo that increase your damage / Tonkiness is welcomed. + to projectile skills is also pretty good but its hard to came across while leveling.

Rings:

This is where you can increase your resistance / life and flat damage.


  1. Flat damage! Lightning and phys pref but any will be good especially on low level!

Belt:

This is the "power house" for life and resistances. If you getting a nice belt you maybe not even swapping out later in the game.

Helmet, Gloves and Body Armour:

Life resistance once again but ANY good armour will do a good work.

How it Plays

Clear

You need to Dodge roll one time so the enemy can kill your Lingering Illusion and you will gain power charges (little blue dots on the ground)

Use Oil Barrage this will kill everything around you and you can use again Devour.


Single target

You don't have power charges:

  1. Dodge roll one time so the enemy can kill your Lingering Illusion and you will gain power charges (little blue dots on the ground)
  2. Ferocious Roar this is granting you rage and extra damage
  3. Oil Barrage the boss should be dead after a few second

You have power charges:

  1. Dodge roll one time in front of the the enemy so they can kill your Lingering Illusion and you will gain power charges (little blue dots on the ground)
  2. Ferocious Roar this is granting you rage and extra damage
  3. Oil Barrage
