The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales - All Cat Locations

Not long after stepping foot into the world, one thing becomes abundantly clear... There are a LOT of cats in the most random of places. Initially, you'll only be able to hear them meow, but after progressing far enough into the story, collecting cats will become a new addition to your adventure.

In order to unlock cat collecting, you'll need to progress far enough into the main story so that you can trigger the "Capricious Neighbors" side quest, which will introduce you to the Ailurophilic Traveler.

Without diving deep into spoilers, just know you'll need to acquire the Moonmirror and bring it back to Euygene. After leaving the castle a cutscene will begin, and the rest speaks for itself.

Ailurophilic Traveler Rewards

There are a total of 50 cats to find between all Ages, two of which are already accounted for after completion of the side quest. While this may sound like a lot, it's well worth the effort as it will grant you a number of fantastic rewards, such as the Quiver and Bomb Pouch.

The Ailurophilic Traveler can be found within all Ages, so you won't need to return to the Kingdom each time. Not that it's difficult, but at least it reduces the longer time travel cutscene loading time.

There are a total of 11 cats in the Age of Safekeeping (not including the initial two).

Eastern Hucarea

• Location: Right outside the Kingdom.

Northern Hucarea

• Location: Across the bridge to the east.

• Location: Outside of the Mist Ruins entrance.

• Location: Walk west from the Guidepost untill you reach the cliff by the river.

• Location: Inside the cave to the east.

• Location: On the southeast shore from the Water Ruins.

Westerea

Cat #8

• Guidepost: Northern Westerea
• Location: Follow the eastern path from the Guidepost, staying at the same height until reaching a jump-off point, then hop down.

Cat #9

• Guidepost: Rainbow Lotus — Approach
• Location: Head north from the Guidepost until you reach Secret Shortcut 6. Pass through the Shortcut, followed by Monster Trail 3, then walk south towards the edge of the cliff.

Westerea - Falls Cave

• Guidepost: Northern Westerea
• Location: A dead end on the lower eastern side of the First Level.

Open Plateau Area

Cat #11

• Guidepost: Open Plateau
• Location: On the cliff to the east of the cave.

Garretbelt - Mount Phoenix

• Guidepost: Mount Phoenix — Approach
• Location: Just east of the entrance up the staircase.
• Requirements: Only accessible towards the end of the game, when following the True Ending.

There are a total of 13 cats in the Age of Magic.

Eastern Hucarea

• Guidepost: Wezyn, Nation of Magic — Western Gate
• Location: On the upper area north of the Guidepost, near a bunch of barrels.

Western Hucarea

Cat #2

• Guidepost: Eastern Eddartrayl
• Location: Head north up the stairs, west and around the front of the house, up the ladder, then follow the long pathway northeast until the end.

Neverwither

Cat #3

• Guidepost: Southern Whiterea
• Location: Just southwest from the Guidepost.

Cat #4

• Guidepost: Neverwither
• Location: Go north and all the way up the ladders until you reach the top.

Whiterea

Cat #5

• Guidepost: Southern Whiterea
• Location: Outside of the Eastern Caves north exit
• Requirements: Complete “Fragrance of Things Past” Side Quest

Eddartrayl - Desert Caves

Cat #6

• Guidepost: Eastern Eddartrayl
• Location: Follow the northeast path from entrance until you can drop down a hole in the ground, then go down the sandfall to the right.

Eddartrayl - Geared Ruins

Cat #7

• Guidepost: Geared Ruins — Approach
• Location: Located at the very end of the Ruins.
• Requirements: Only accessible towards the end of the game, when following the True Ending, after finding the other two “True Ending cats”.

Westerea - Monster Trail 2

• Location: Lower area below the bridge, by some vases.

Westeria - Monster Trail 3

• Location: On the west side, lower area, accessed through a slightly hidden pathway along the wall.

• Location: Follow the northwest path from the Guidepost, to the west of the hot spring.

• Location: Follow the path south from the Guidepost, all the way until you reach a large cluster of vases. Smash them to reveal Secret Shortcut 4 and go through to the other side.

Garretbelt - Fire Ruins

• Location: On a large platform to the east of the Sublevel Two staircase.

Garretbelt - Mount Phoenix

• Guidepost: Mount Phoenix — Approach
• Location: Hop across the lava rocks on the east side from the entrance, then head west through all the flying flaming rocks.

There are a total of 12 cats in the Age of Budding.

Eastern Hucarea

• Location: Southwest corner, up the ladder from the beach.

• Location: Right to the west of the Guidepost.

• Location: Along the pathway by a rock in the central west side of Netherwither.

Neverwither - Forest Ruins

• Location: Follow the path west from the Guidepost, then through the trail to the Ruins. Head east from the entrance.

Neverwither - Grandtree

Cat #5

• Guidepost: Grandtree — Approach
• Location: Visible right from the entrance, but you’ll need to ascend to a higher floor and drop down.
• Requirements: Only accessible towards the end of the game, when following the True Ending.

Whiterea

• Location: Just east of the Guidepost.

• Guidepost: Dragonpillar — Approach
• Location: On a cliff just southeast of the Guidepost.
