As you progress in Palworld, you’ll be able to enhance your player stats by putting points into specific skills.
This will happen naturally as you earn experience from everything you do, whether it be catching Pals, fighting Syndicates, building structures, defeating bosses in dungeons, and more.
In this Palworld player stats guide, we’ll cover all the stats and help you understand which one to prioritize.
The 5 Palworld Player Stats
Every time your character levels up in Palworld, you’ll be able to level up one of your skill stats.
The five stats you can level up are:
Health – Health pool (a numbered amount of hit points your character has)
Stamina – Dictates how long your character can sprint or gather resources with tools
Attack – Affects damage done by your character with weapons (melee or other)
Work Speed – How quickly your character can produce a desired recipe (Handiwork)
Weight – How much weight your character can carry until encumbered and movement is slowed
Although there is another sixth stat of yours, called Defense, it is currently not an option for enhanced stat point allowance. Defense can only be increased by wearing armor, accessories, or having certain Pals in your party that raise Defense by a percentage.
The Best Skills to Level Up
TLDR, our recommended priority is as follows:
S Tier = Weight (always useful)
A Tier = Health, Attack, Stamina (sometimes useful)
B Tier = Work Speed (rarely useful)
Let's explain these from worst to best.
Work Speed is rarely useful because outside of just the first few levels, you'll have your Pals be doing the work for you and it's only really relevant in base.
Health, Attack, and Stamina are more useful since they relate to your survivability and capability in combat; however, once again, you can have your Pals tank and do damage for you. Stamina does have its uses if you don't plan on having a mountable Pal in your party but even then, that's situational.
Finally, we have Weight, which is always relevant. Nothing feels worse than finding a great haul of items and then having to choose which ones to drop because you can't carry enough.
There are some Pals like Turtacle and Cattiva that can help bear the load, but you can never fully rely on your Pals to take care of carrying like you can with the other stats.
How to Respec Player Stats Memory Wiping Medicine)
If you want to respec your player stats, you can do so with a Memory Wiping Medicine.
It can be crafted with the following materials at the Electric Medicine Workbench (level 43):
Beautiful Flower x99
Horn x50
Bone x50
Pal Fluids x50
Note that this only affects player stats, it does not reset Technology points.
