What are the Reset Timers in NTE?

Neverness to Everness has a lot of timers. This Guide focuses on what actually matters, when to do it, and why.

The Three Server Timers

  • Daily Reset: Every Day
  • Weekly Reset: Every Monday
  • Monthly Reset: First day of each Month

Daily Priority Check List

Daily Reset: Each server resets at 5 AM local server time.

  • EU: 5:00 AM (GMT +2)
  • Asia: 5:00 AM (GMT +8)
  • US: 5:00 AM (GMT -5)

What Resets Daily?

With each day, server refreshes the daily quests, daily farm limit, daily shops, Gift Cap, Exploration Guide tasks, Circle Bounty missions, and City Delivery missions. And advances login rewards. This also respawns all open world enemies.

Below, Activities are listed in priority order. So the top ones first if you're short on time.

1. Spend Character Pixels (Stamina)

Stamina doesn't have a hard reset every day, but regenerates over time.

  • Stamina regenerates at rate of 1 Stamina every 6 minutes, for a total 10 per hour and 240 per day
  • The Stamina cap starts at 240, but increases by buying Eden apartment and Upgrading Dream Weaver's Knot furniture.
  • Don't let Stamina reach cap, it stops generating.
  • Use it to farm necessary materials for upgrading character level, skills, Arcs, and getting Console pieces.

2. Claim Login and Event Rewards

Next, open Event page, and check what you can claim for free, or what simple tasks to do for other rewards.

3. Daily Tasks in Exploration Guide

The second tab in Exploration Guide has a simple daily tasks list for quick rewards. Things such as login, spend Fons, defeat enemies, use Ultimate, collect Fons from the Cafe, spend stamina .. etc

4. Manage Cafe and Collect Fons

  • Open City Tycoon -> Cafe by Origen
  • Collect Earnings
  • Open Management and research any new recipe
  • Open Item UI, deselect the least profiting recipes, and select the most profiting ones.
  • Press restock, and select 24h

5. Daily Battle Pass (Circle Bounty)

Open Circle Bounty and claim experience points from completed daily tasks, then claim Circle Bounty level rewards.

If you finished all tasks in the previous list, you will likely find everything here completed.

6. Make a wish at Nacupeda pool

If you have more time to spare every day, there are some optional activities that has good rewards, but require daily farming.

Location: on Nacupeda pool (Fountain Icon west of the map, near Bridge Crossing)

Daily Reward: 6-8 Mhm! Coins

What it's used for: Accumulate 100 coins to buy exclusive S-Class Arc (Your Happiness is Priceless) from Arc Shop.

7. Use 3 daily Fortune Reading

Another unmarked activity that game shows no prompt or reminder. But gives player nice extra bonuses per day

Location: The Witch's House southwest of Hankaku Street (The purple Crystal Ball icon)

Daily Reward:

  • Bless: Daily Temporary buff (e.g: 20% Crit Damage)
  • Treasure Hunt: A small combat encounter to gather Oracle Stone to give back to the Witch for reward
  • Lost Tales: A short unlisted quest, for some Hunter Experience, an Easter Egg, and achievements.

8. Give Gifts to characters

  • You have a total 10 daily gifts limits, and 3 gifts for individual characters.
  • Some Gifts grants more Affection to certain characters. Find the most efficient Gift for each character to make your limited Gifts count.
    • Chiz for example gets 100 Affection from the expensive Rose Lychee Cake,
    • While she gets 200 Affection from similarly expensive Holy Worship Month.
    • Then there's Fantasia that gives 200 Affection, but much cheaper.
  • Claim Fluffy Cotton from your Compressed Boom Boom Cloud at your Property (one every 2-3 days)
    • This gives 400 Affection to any character. So give to the one you intend to raise fastest.

9. Get a Daily Free Module

This is conditional activity, locked until you get Hathor from pulling or the Selector. She unlocks a piece of Anomaly Furniture, where you claim one free Module daily. But before claiming it, make sure you upgrade to the max possible level, to increase the chance of getting a higher rarity Module.

  • Open City Tycoon -> Property -> Eden Apartment -> Hamster Ball
  • Click on the "Little Melon Seed" icon, press source, and track
  • The world map will open, and GPS tracker will point to the nearest Haunted Vending Machine
  • The tracker will keep pointing towards new targets until you've exterminated them for today
  • You get around 24 Little Melon Seeds. Now teleport to your Apartment, use the seeds to Upgrade the Hamster Ball
  • After upgrading, Claim the daily Module
  • In mid game, while Eden Apartment is your highest Property, Hamster Ball will be capped at level 6. So you'll only need to farm only for few days. More expensive apartments unlock higher levels.

10. Farm Fons with Chiz

Chiz has a unique ability to generate Fons by merely fighting enemies

  • Her Charged Attack generates Fons once per enemy
  • Defeating enemy with her generates Additional Fons
  • Daily limit is 40k, and total cap is 250k per account
  • City Tycoon level 28 raises the total cap to 500k

Weekly Priority Checklist

The weekly reset occurs on Monday, at local server reset time. It resets Anomaly Pilgrimage (Weekly bosses), City Stamina, Auction House, Realm of Greed, and Special Delivery Commissions.

There's no known mandatory weekly shop resets. The only shops that resets weekly are those in the open world, and they have a massive 999 weekly limit anyway.

Weekly Bosses

This is by far the most notable priority, since it has a limit of three per week. So missing any week will put your account behind.

  • Weekly bosses drop necessary Esper Skill upgrade materials.
  • At launch, there's only two Weekly Bosses to farm.
  • Prioritize the Boss that drops material suitable for most of the characters you are building.

City Stamina

City Stamina doesn't regenerate, but resets to full at the start of the week. So make sure it reaches zero before the weekly reset. It's the best and most stable source of Fons.

  • If you're short on time, aim for an activity that consume Stamina the fastest, such as City Delivery
  • The Fons reward from spending Stamina follows a fixed ratio, 1000 Fons per 1 Stamina
  • The maximum City stamina increases with Tycoon levels:
    • Level 5: 200 Stamina
    • Level 10: 350 Stamina
    • Level 16: 500 Stamina
    • Level 23: 700 Stamina
  • if you manage to hit a Tycoon Level Milestone before reset, you effectively earn more City stamina for a free this week. A boost to early game progression.

Special Delivery Commission

One of the rare weekly activities that grants Fons at no City Stamina cost.

Get the Commission from the Old Mail Box in Eden Apartment. Or from City Delivery menu, look for the Commission with no stamina cost. It's free Fons if you consumed all your City Stamina and still have time to grind a little bit more.

Upgrading the Old Mail Box makes this Commission more rewarding.

Realm of Greed

Another unmarked activity, that's easy to forget.

  • Go to your Wiener Apartment, and interact with Blind Mammon
  • Make sure you do all possible upgrades for Blind Mammon for the week from Auction House
  • Teleport to the Realm of Greed and kill the Boss for couple thousands of Fons

Ebisu’s Auction House

The Auction House is a unique place to get hard-to-find materials, especially for upgrading the Blind Mammon Anomaly Furniture. You can also get character upgrade materials in exchange for Fons.

  • You have to teleport to the Auction House icon on the map manually. There's no popup notification or reminder to go there
  • Select The Kape, talk to Iris, then Go to Auction, and talk to Iori
  • Let NPCs bids and compete until they all settle and only one remains. Now place your Bid and get the item (This saves you from repeatedly spending 200 Fons on failed bids)
  • Get all Gluttonous Eyes and Covetous Coins to upgrade Blind Mammon
  • Grab all other upgrade materials if you have the Fons to spare.

Monthly Checklist

On the first day of the month, these monthly shops resets:

  • Arc Selection (Uses Tri-Key in exchange for Standard Character Weapons, similar to ones you get for free from Bosses and Anomaly Hunting)
  • Warp Exchange
  • Lost Exchange

Purchase Pulls from Lost Exchange

The most notable one is Lost Exchange, as the refresh brings back Limited Pulls (Solid Dice), Standard Banner Pulls (Fabricated Dice), and Arc Banner Pulls (Tri-Key).

It uses a currency called Lost Piece, you get from pulling duplicate characters or Arcs. If you have plenty of Lost Piece currency, feel free to purchase all possible Pulls. But for F2P and casual players, try to grab the Dices only, and leave the Tri-Keys. Since the overwhelming majority of S-Class Arcs are free.

Pro Tip:

Don't try to buy Fons from this shop. The price is inflated - in comparison to Pulls.

Warp Exchange

The choice of what to do with the currency (Warp Piece) is tougher here:

  • Save 720 Warp Pieces and exchange for a standard character.
  • Or grab 30 Limited Pulls for the same price.
  • Or exchange some for a massive Fons amount (You get 120k Fons for the same cost as 1 Pull).

There's no correct answer here, as different accounts have different priorities. Some would be in a dire need of a certain Standard character to complete a team's Esper Cycle. While other prefer to go all out on the next limited Banner.

And those who are relaxed with the pulls might skip some pulls to get more Fons, and reach faster City Tycoon Levels.

Pro Tip:

In general, we recommend saving your currency and making the decision later at endgame, when the META is defined and perfected, so the decision is well-informed.

Pink Paw Heist

In terms of Activities, Pink Paw Heist is the only one that resets twice per month. There's a cap of 1 Million Fons to grab from the heist, and this number resets every two weeks.
