Mint Build Guide

Character Profile

Mint is an A-Class Anima character with a Liquid Arc. She is a guaranteed character at launch, right after the tutorial, so everyone has at least A0 Mint. At launch, Nanally Limited Banner features Mint as a Rate-Up A-Class. So it’s easy to get her dupes, and the rest of the guide assumes she has at least 1 dupe, and A1 allocated.

Mint is an AOE, Melee Main DPS Carry, with focus on Critical Dodge Counter to reset her skill CD, using her Skill frequently, and holding a special Charged Attack at the cost of Stamina. She's not the best Anima DPS at launch, but her performance is pretty decent at early and mid game. And probably would still have a place in the endgame when challenge modes require two full teams, because Anima is a widely used element.

Best Teams

Mint is a main DPS with flexibility to swap in and out of the field, which helps her slot in several teams, even if she’s not the absolute top pick.

Mint Hyper Carry Team

Mint Jiuyuan Zero Sakiri

Similar to the Nanally team, but using Mint instead. Zero and Jiuyuan are Burst DPS, and Sakiri is Support, leaving most of the field time to Mint. This team procs Blossom a lot by swapping to and from Zero (Cosmos) and the two Anima characters, and complementing Hexed between Anima and Sakiri (Incantation). Mint passive makes Blossom’s AOE larger, and both Jiuyuan and Sakiri can gather enemies for AOE stages.

Mint Break Team

Mint Adler Haniel Daffodill

This is a cheap solution for a second team on higher levels of Beyond the Rails endgame mode. If all your Nanally and premium supports are taken by the first team, Mint with Discord team can still work. Reason is, Daffodill require quick swap in and out of field, and Mint doesn’t hinder that. Actually Mint's low cooldown on skill allows her to swap with the team. And Break from Daffodill and Discord enable Mint to use her powerful Tornado (Charged Attack) without interruption. And Adler shields make up for lack of healer, with Haniel still offering good buffs.

Best Weapons

  • BiS: Fluff of Fleetness (Paid Battle Pass)
  • F2P: The Last Rose
  • Early Game F2P: Clear Skies

Unfortunately, Mint does not have an S-Class Signature Weapon that's F2P. As such, her best in slot will be the battle pass weapon simply due to it having the most applicable passive effect.

The Last Rose and Youthful Fantasy are both S-Class stat sticks you can use as well, but the full passive effect does not synergize with Mint.

For the early game, Clear Skies is a nice Arc to equip if you have it.

Best Cartridges & Modules

  • Cartridge: Fireflies and the Forest (S)
  • Cartridge Main Stat: CRIT Rate
  • Substats: CRIT Rate CRIT DMG ATK% Universal DMG%

Anima set provides Anima DMG%, and a massive stacking Crit Damage, every time an enemy takes Anima damage (including Blossom). And the effect remains while the character is off field. This is an easy buff to stack up fast with Mint AOE and her on-field time.

Between the Crit Damage from set, and Mint’s signature Arc, she reaches 152% Crit Damage before any main or sub stats. Making Crit rate Main Stat a must (Almost doubles her damage)

Console bonus gives Mint 7.5% Crit Rate with every Type III module, and Anima set requires 2x Type III modules. So Mint can equip a total four of type III modules, for a 30% Crit rate bonus. Which is great, but still not enough to compensate for the massive imbalance between Crit Rate and Crit Damage ratio.

And naturally, DMG %, ATK % and Crit stats are ideal for sub stats.

Skill Priority

Skill = Basic Attacks > Ultimate > Support Skill

While on field, the majority of Mint DPS comes from Basic type Attacks (Normal, charged, and dodge counters). Followed by her Skill. And when quick swapping, Skill becomes a more prominent source of DPS. So we level Basic and Skill equally, above all else.

Awakenings & Resonance

Awakenings
A1A1: Task Force Operation
A2A2: Re-examination
A3A3: Attendance Bonus
A4A4: Lunch Break
A5A5: First Instinct
A6A6: Elite Member
ResonanceResonance: Minty Bubble Tea
ResonanceResonance: Fluffy Mousse

A1 > A5 > A2 = A3  = A4 = A6

All Awakenings of Mint after A1 serves as stats and damage boost. With A5 having the strongest impact on DPS. While A1 transforms her playstyle, by resetting her Skill every time she performs a dodge counter (Critical Riposte).

How to Play

Mint kit is simple, but as all A-Class characters, it’s also unique:

  • She enters the field with support skill, preferably switching from Zero with full Esper Meter to Proc Blossom
  • Use Ultimate whenever it’s fully charged
  • Press Skill to enter cooldown, then swap to continue team rotation.
  • Swap to Mint again, and press Skill a second time after cooldown ends
  • Spam normal attacks while waiting for enemy attack
  • Critical Dodge into Dodge Counter
  • Use Skill again
  • When the enemy Breaks, Hold Charged Attack for 5 seconds.

Release Date

Mint will release alongside the official release of Neverness to Everness, which will be April 29th, 2026 for global players, with China releasing the game slightly earlier on April 23rd, 2026.
