Jiuyuan Build Guide

Increases Crit Rate by 6% for each Type II Module equipped

As a sub DPS with Blossom support and healing capabilities, Jiuyuan is the easiest pick up for any team that comes close to Anima on the Esper Circle

Blossom Team

Nanally Jiuyuan Sakiri Zero

Jiuyuan passive affects all Blossoms in the team, not limited to the Blossoms Jiuyuan causes by herself. The result is double the damage from Blossom, as the team summons two Buds in one Blossom.

Nanally plays a main DPS, and Sakiri acting as ATK buffer, DEF shred, and adding Hexed to the mix. And Zero for instant Esper Meter charge.

Charged Team

Chiz Zero Jiuyuan Hathor

Any Charged team gains a lot of efficiency by slotting Jiuyuan, merely by having double the amount of Blossom buds (Proc Charged twice as much when hitting enemies that have Remora)

Chiz is the main dps, with all of Jiuyuan, Zero, and Hathor playing Burst dps. Jiuyuan shall also heal with A1 unlocked.

Hathor Carry Team

Hathor Zero Jiuyuan Haniel

Another Charged team, focusing on Hathor playing the Carry instead. Adding a Psyche support such as Haniel, to trigger Stain for more potent Psyche and Lakshana damage. Zero and Jiuyuan play Burst DPS. While Hathor extends Remora duration and gives Crit Rate against targets with Remora. 

Aurelia Carry Team

Aurelia Hathor Zero Jiuyuan

The last of the Charged teams, with Aurelia playing as main Psyche Single target DPS, and Hathor switching to Burst DPS. The team synergy is the same, Stain buffing both Aurelia and Hathor, Zero playing Burst DPS and Esper Meter Charge, and Jiuyuan wrapping the Charged procs by her Blossoms

Discord Quick Swap Team

Daffodill Haniel Adler/Sakiri Jiuyuan

Instead of Blossom, Jiuyuan plays on her other reaction here, Hexed. The team revolve around Daffodill own kit, and Discord, to Break Bosses. With no obvious main Carry, the team relies on Quick Swapping and Burst DPS. Then procs Hexed reaction to replicate a portion of Anima and Incantation damage dealt in the last few seconds. With Sakiri in the team, Haniel and Jiuyuan can build as Sub-DPS, while keeping Haniel and Sakiri buffs, and Jiuyuan healing.

Full Scorch Team

Baicang Daffodill Sakiri Jiuyuan

Similar to the previous team, but discard Nova and Discord, and fills all slots with S Rank characters. Doubling down on Incantation damage via Scorch, and Baicang DoT. This team gains a lot of Burst DPS from Hexed, to replicate all Incantation Damage accumulated over time. Again, Quick Swap and time both of Daffodill and Baicang swaps for maximum DPS output.

All Standard characters get their Signature Weapon through defeating bosses in the story or Overworld. For Jiuyuan, Reality Refugee is the best DPS Arc. 

She gets ATK%, Anima DMG%, and Attachment DMG%, which increases further with Ultimate. So most of her damage gets buffed from this passive.

For the early game before getting Reality Refugee, use the A rank The Forgotten as a temporary pick. Or even Haniel signature S Rank “Blow up the Crowd” which drops earlier than Reality Refugee. It provides ATK bonus and ATK buff to active character while off-field.

• Cartridge Main Stat: Anima Damage
• Substats: Crit Rate / Crit Damage / ATK% / DMG%

Jiuyuan Burst Damage is very important, for both her healing and the team's overall DPS. Her Console Bonus encourages using DPS Modules. She gains Crit Rate per Type II module she’s using. With Anima set, she has room to equip 5 Type II modules, resulting in a 30% Crit Rate bonus before any Main or Sub Stats.

Anima Damage is generally the best Main stat for Jiuyuan, while ATK and Crit stats are ideal for sub stats. Break Damage bonus can be worthwhile, especially with Jiuyuan A3 Break bonus, if it leads to a second Break on bosses.

Sometimes we have no other option but using Speedy Hedgehog (Team wide ATK buff set) on Jiuyuan, if no other support is suitable for carrying it. It’s still a team DPS gain if no one else carries it. 

Ultimate > Skill > Basic Attacks > Support Skill
