Increases Crit Rate by 7.5% for each Type III Module equipped

You have to build the team around Baicang, and can’t slot him in any team. His options are limited, and to reach his full potential, he prefers a team full of S-Class characters to complement his playstyle

Baicang Full Star Team

Baicang Daffodill Sakiri Jiuyuan

The ideal, best team for Baicang, and best team overall in the bottom half of the Esper Circle, assuming the player can execute combos and quick swap correctly.

The whole team serves as amplification for Scorch and Baicang. Sakiri as an ATK buffer, who also increases enemies’ DoT taken. Daffodill to trigger Scorch with Baicang. Jiuyuan to group enemies, Burst DPS, and proc Hexed to replicate a portion of all Incantation DMG dealt to enemies. 

F2P Budget Team

Baicang Daffodill Adler Haniel

You ditch Hexed, DoT amplifier, and a Burst DPS for a shielder, more breaks, more Scorch, and Discord reaction. The team is more comfortable with the shields, to be safer while Baicang drains his own HP.

Such a team is suitable for Beyond the Rail endgame mode, when your other team utilizes all premium supports.

Adler will proc extra Scorch and grant a shield. Haniel's Psyche element enables Nova (with Daffodill) and Discord (with Daffodill + Adler), adding break damage to the team. Daffodill will break Bosses more often. But Baicang deals less personal DPS. A fair trade, considering the investment.

All Standard characters’ signature weapons are free to acquire from the overworld bosses or certain Anomaly Hunt. Baicang gets his from defeating the Story Boss “Serenetti" in Serenetti Manor. It fits him perfectly, as it gives Baicang: 

• 666 ATK
• 12% Crit Rate
• 4 stacks of 12% Crit Damage (after he drains his own HP)
• Active ability: Consume HP to do one of two random attacks on 25s CD

So it’s full of stats that buff all aspects of the damage formula, on top of adding extra attack and HP drain to stack the bonuses faster.

In the early game, before getting his signature weapon, use something like A Time Will Come as an alternative.

• Cartridge: Crimson: Twin Butterflies (S)
• Cartridge Main Stat: Incantation DMG%
• Substats: CRIT Rate CRIT DMG ATK% Universal DMG%

Crimson Twin Butterflies provides 10% Incantation DMG%, and up to 36% ATK after enemies are hit by Incantation DMG six times. The stacking effect lasts 10 seconds, and remains active while off-field. So it’s the natural best-in-slot for Baicang

Console bonus gives Baicang 7.5% Crit Rate with every Type III module, and the Incantation set requires 2x Type III modules. So you can stack a total of four Type III modules, for 30% Crit Rate. That’s on top of 12% Crit rate from his Arc, Baicang accumulates nearly 50% Crit Rate, and 100% Crit Damage before any main or substats. 

With full build, his Crit stats are perfectly balanced, and the focus on Main Stat should be Incantation DMG.

The ideal substats are Crit Rate, Crit Damage, ATK%, and DMG%. With the possibility of opting for some Cycle Intensity stats to increase both Scorch and Hexed DPS, since both are DPS oriented.

Ultimate > Skill > Basic Attacks > Support Skill

Baicang uses all of his kit to inflict Power Word three times. One with skill, He has to mix Dodge Counter, Normal Attacks, Skill, and Ultimate to reach full potential. However, the damage scaling comes mostly from Ultimate and Skill, so we prioritize them.
