Overview

Introduced in Title Update 1, the Grand Hub acts as a gathering place for hunters in Monster Hunter Wilds. Players can use most game facilities directly from the Hub and partake in meals and multiplayer activities.

In this article, we’ll go into detail about everything you need to know about the Grand Hub and its facilities!

This guide was written by @dxvis.

How to Unlock the Grand Hub

The Grand Hub becomes accessible once you reach Hunter Rank 16. Then, speak to Tetsuzan in the Suja village, and the Grand Hub will open.

It is accessible from the world map, as well as from Suja’s back gate.

The Canteen

The Canteen is back, and this time around you can order regional meals from each of the villages in the game, as well as seasonal meals during special events.

Meal Vouchers are required to partake in Canteen meals, and they can be acquired via Login Bonuses and from bounty rewards.

Quest Counter and Arena Quest Counter

In the Grand Hub, you can take on quests from Quest Counter, as well as from Alma.

There’s also a Makeshift Camp in front of it, which lets you quickly change your items and equipment.

The newly added Arena Quest Counter allows you to take on special quests where your completion time is uploaded online, and you may receive special rewards depending on how quickly you complete them. There are two types:

  • Arena Quests. Specific equipment and item is given to complete them. Max. 2 players.
  • Challenge Quests. Similar to Arena Quests, but limited-time.
  • Free Challenge Quests. These are limited-time, like Event Quests, and do not have restrictions. Max. 4 players.

The Diva (Free Attack Buff)

The Diva will appear at nighttime and perform “Land of Life”, the game’s credits song. You can sit at a bench and focus the camera on The Diva to enjoy the performance.

Listening to The Diva will give you an Attack buff that has the same effect as a Demondrug.

Barrel Bowling & Multiplayer Activities

The Grand Hub’s star activity is Barrel Bowling, where you’ll throw barrels down a slope and try to net as many points as possible, getting rewards depending on your performance.

You need Barrel Bowling Vouchers to play, which are obtainable from login bonuses, item trades, and the support ship.

Aside from Barrel Bowling, you can Arm Wrestle with other players on top of Barrels, and sit at tables to perform special emotes and gestures.

Other Facilities

Squad Information Counter

This facility has been relocated from the Windward Plains to the Grand Hub. You can find Felicita near the Hub’s entrance and manage your Multiplayer Squads there.

Expedition Record Board

This board, located at the Hub’s entrance, allows you to view game announcements, limited bounties, and see global rankings.

Ingredient Center

Next to the Quest Counter and Canteen is the ingredient center, where you can obtain rations periodically.

Tent

There’s a Tent for all your needs to the left of the Grand Hub.

Support Desk

The Support Desk Palico is located right outside the Tent and allows to manage downloadable content and pop-up camps.

Smithy

The Legendary Smithy from Monster Hunter Dos makes a comeback, acting as a mentor for Gemma.

Provisions Stockpile

You can buy items directly in the Grand Hub, too.

NPCs and Secret Items

Various characters can roam through the Grand Hub, such as Astrum Unit members. You can take pictures with them and listen to their new dialogue.

There are a few secret places in the Grand Hub. You can climb up to the superior levels and find various items – Including an Ancient Wyvern Coin in the top part of the pillars, and a fluffy bird’s nest behind a waterfall (where you can gather valuable Airy Eggs!)
