Season 9 brings a massive overhaul to Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals. In total, there are now over 100 Team-Up Abilities!
How Team-Ups work in Season 9
When selecting your Hero, you'll have the option to pick either of their two abilities. If you'd like to swap mid-round, you'll have to return to spawn and reopen the hero select screen, switch Team-Ups and redeploy.
All Team-Ups are now be permanently available, even when the Anchor hero is not on your team. Every Hero has access to two Team-Up Abilities. When the Anchor hero is on your team, the Team-Up Ability gains enhanced effects.

Looking at Jubilee as an example, we can see in the first clip that she only gains lifesteal when activating the Team-Up. However, in the second example, we see passive healing active in addition to the base effect of lifesteal.
Choosing a Team-Up
The Team-Up Ability you chose significantly affects the potential value your hero can have during the match. Consider who your allies are playing, if they are lacking in damage or healing output, and also who on the enemy team counters your hero. Thinking about the matchups in each unique game will help inform you to make better decisions at the hero select screen.
For example, Jubilee's Team-Up with The Hood transforms her primary fire into a hitscan with critical-hit capability, resulting in a massive boost in damage output and pick potential. If her team lacks AoE sustain, or if Blade is on her team, it can still be worth going for the Blade Team-Up.
Some heroes, however, have one Team-Up ability that far outclasses the others, so you can always default to the same choice.
