Overview

For the rankings of these weapons we took our own experience and community feedback when choosing each spot. We took into account how the gun played at different ranges, if they were effective against UESC Bots, ammo type, and what attachments they could use. Some guns were absolute standouts while others feel quite short of expectations.

S-Tier Commentary

BR33 Volley Rifle

TheBR33 Volley Rifle was the most sought after weapon of the entire Server Slam due to it's incredible versatility and power. This Light Rounds burst rifle could shred a runner shield at any range while packing a mean punch to UESC Bots of all levels. No matter what rarity it comes in you should pick up this weapon!

WSTR Combat Shotgun

WSTR Combat Shotgun is the perfect choice for close quarters combat if you want to end the fight fast. This double barrel shotgun that uses MIPS rounds can break a shield fast and ensure you're winning your individual fight. Expect to fall to this while running on Tau Ceti IV.

V85 Circuit Breaker

Similar to railguns, the V85 Circuit Breaker shotgun needs to be charged to get maximum damage from it, but it does not require a full charge to fire and when you do get a full charged shot off it is devastating. You can push corners aggressively with a charged shot to immediately remove someone from a fight, or defend a corner with a charged shot to turn a fight around in an instant. Incredible weapon with a mild learning curve.

Longshot

The literal definition of the Marathon sniper is the Longshot! Another MIPS weapon that allows you to pickoff target from across any map you're fighting on. For those teams that plan on sitting back and not fighting close quarters you need this.

Bully SMG

Likely the strongest SMG in the game and an absolute beast is the Bully SMG! This Heavy Rounds SMG packs a serious punch and is perfect for any mid to close range fight. If you're someone who wants to take the fight to an enemy runny the Bully is well suited for you.

V99 Channel Rifle

Widely considered to be the strongest sniper in the game because of it's non-committal damage charge up. Unlike other charge weapons, this does not require a held trigger input to ramp its damage up and instead builds up damage the longer you look through it's scope. A fully charged shot is devastating, and if the target survives, you can immediately follow up with an uncharged shot to finish them off, making this weapon one of the strongest in the game for ambushes.

Misriah 2442

If you're worried about hitting your shots with the Combat Shotgun then try out the Misriah 2442! This pump shotgun is perfect for close quarter fights and provides players with a few more rounds before reloading. Peak corners with this and know that you're walking away with the enemies loot!

M77 Assault Rifle

The M77 Assault Rifle is another weapon that benefits from good ammo economy, but also has a unique versatility with it having an intrinsic scope that you can swap to from Iron sights, giving you a much better ranged option for a faster firing Assault Rifle.

A-Tier Commentary

Outland

Bit of a weird placement because while it does possess higher damage than the Longshot, it has significantly slower fire rate, which lowers its time to kill on lower gear players, but actually increases time to kill noticeably on higher geared player when compared directly to the longshot. Very strong weapon regardless.

Magnum MC

The Magnum MC is a hard hitting pistol that felt very similar to a Hand Cannon from Destiny 2. Using this weapon felt familiar and hit like a truck. It also carries the benefit of being the highest ranged pistol option.

Demolition HMG

The Demolition HMG is one of the better Machine Guns out there with a decent fire rate. Good for medium distance combat. At higher level variants you can demolish UESC Bots at any level!

Twin Tap HBR

Twin Tap HBR is the best burst fire rifle behind the Volley Rifle. Good for medium to long distance combat. This is something to use when you don't have immediate access to the S-Tier BR33 Volley Rifle.

V66 Lookout

V66 Lookout is one of the best precision rifles out there. Great from medium to long distance engagements & always satisfying to shoot.

V11 Punch

The V11 Punch is a very basic Volt Battery pistol. You will find this on many UESC Bots and Rooks crawling around the map. It's single shot fire is very predictable and easy to use, but outside of the fact you can find it anywhere it's not that special.

B-Tier Commentary

Impact H/AR

Feels great, and handles distance better than the more popular M77 Assault Rifle at the cost of lower rate of fire. Can even contend with precision rifles at mid-to long range if you can control the already low recoil. The main downside is that it can't handle itself as well in close range due to low fire rate and that it's heavy ammo can be a bit expensive, especially in the early game.

Stryder M1t

While the weapon does feel good to use, it is out-paced by other precision rifles for precision damage. It does have good range with little fall off and does good raw damage, so you won't see much of a penalty if you're hitting primarily body shots and can serve as a strong weapon for harassment and suppression during ranged team fights.

Hardline PR

Hardline PR is a very good Precision Rifle that is a great option for longer range fights, very easy to use recoil, and a great headshot multiplier. Being a more common weapon to find, its a great option to bring along.

V00 Zeus RG

Has much faster charge time than the Ares and higher precision damage multiplier. Will almost guarantee a one-shot down to the head. Downside of course being that it is a railgun and demands a drastic change in playstyle to make use of it in a practical setting. Things like charging up behind cover and peaking at near full charge to find a quick kill.

V22 Volt Thrower

TheV22 Volt Thrower is one of the better SMGs amongst the rest. Good fire rate & the lock on system is helpful against quick moving enemy AI. Shockingly a pretty strong weapon for those early maps of Tau Ceti IV.

Repeater HPR

The Repeater HPR is in a similar boat as the Hardline, only it shoots slower, but hits much harder. Reminiscent of a good Scout Rifle from Destiny 2, this thing is a great long range option to take out enemies from a distance.

Overrun AR

The Overrun AR is the most basic weapon in the entire game. A very typical assault rifle that uses Light Rounds while providing no real advantage. This tends to be a weapon used by most fresh runners or that Rook sneaking around the map. It does have higher level variants that are strong, but on it's own it's not that special.

Retaliator LMG

The Retaliator LMG suffers from what most LMGs do, they are slow and clunky, fast firing weapons that don't deal a ton of damage. However, they are quite common early on and can provide some good ammo economy as well from being Light ammo weapons.

C-Tier Commentary

V75 Scar

The V75 Scar is an absolutely incredible and versatile weapon. It feels like a SMG/AR combination, providing great strength in close and medium ranges. With it being a volt weapon, it also has great ammo economy as Volt ammo is the most abundant thanks to UESC dropping it more often.

Conquest LMG

Conquest LMG also suffers from aggressive mediocrity with being a very basic LMG. Its Heavy Rounds pack a punch, but you find yourself in the typical issues that most heavy weapons like this suffer from.

Copperhead

Copperhead RF has a fast rate of fire, capable of achieving comparable TTK to that of a Bully SMG, but needing to hit majority headshots to do so. It boasts high handling and low recoil, but very low range, which ends up making it only outclass its heavy ammo counterpart in very specific close range encounters. On top of needing to satisfy all of these conditions to come out on top, it is also very ammo hungry as a result of it's fast fire rate, which essentially cancels out the cost benefit of bringing light ammo vs heavy.

BRRT Smg

The BRRT Smg is a great SMG option, while not being as good as the Bully, it is still a fantastic choice for up close and even some mid range fights. On top of it being a fast firing burst weapon, it also has great ammo economy due to it being a light ammo weapon, another one that is more consistently found.

D-Tier Commentary

Ares RG

Ares RG is supposed to be the counterpart to sniper rifles, however, they fall short due to their charge up mechanics and just overall being outclassed by the snipers in the game. They have great damage and can be quite good in the hands of someone more used to a charge weapon.

CE Tactical Sidearm

The CE Tactical Sidearm is the "Beginner" pistol in this game, and suffers from being exactly that, a beginner weapon with good ammo economy, but that's about all it is good for. Something to be brought in on a run where you aren't as worried about losing what you have on, and can be good against UESC.
