First Intention Wardancer Build Guide for PvE
Build
is a flashy, high speed and mobile build that excels on progression/learning content. It is also the tankiest wardancer build, allowing the player to be greedier than others. It has low stagger damage and weak point destruction.
The build can be set up either as a non-positional for comfort or back attacker to hit those high numbers. Although the back attack variant can reach a higher ceiling, non-positional output is still very close.
Compared to other classes at the same powerlevel, this build isn’t for the MVP chasers. It’ll only be able to out damage most classes if the player gets a very good damage uptime, which means you need to be hitting your skills while others can’t for any reason, like cooldowns or bad positioning.
It is also important to note that all Wardancer builds feel very weak without high tripod levels and their respective relic sets.

You might consider pressing inside the yellow circle where you can change equipment. This will provide you the buff for the next 2 minutes of the current fight without consuming your Awakening charges (you usually have 6 or 7 per fight). This is very useful for prolonged fights.
Tips to maximize DPS
- Avoid using skills without and or buffs.
- tripod must pop inside buffs window. If it happens to pop while skills are on cooldown, you can use to buff it right before it explodes.
You should ALWAYS proc Judgement Rune before using your Awakening. This will greatly lower its cooldown, allowing you to use it again a little bit after the ‘Inner Awakening’ buff from Dominion Fang expires.
