Esoteric Flurry Striker Build Guide for PvE

is a fast paced build and gets main damage from having high uptime. An additional mobility skill and two hardest hitting skills include mobility. If you are mechanically skilled in fights, and utilizing the mobility from your skills you will have great positioning while doing dps. The unique mobility while having bruiser tankiness makes esoteric flurry playstyle a little bit forgiving once you understand the skills. The cooldowns for your big combos all line up pretty well so you will often find yourself starting a full combo while a skill is just about to come off the cooldown, making it a high uptime playstyle.

How to play

Main Damage Combo

Secondary combo allows you to split up your damage rotation into one big damage combo and one smaller damage combo by not using , adding after and following the main damage combo rotation.

Main Stagger Combo

Save up + for damage after the stagger check. Some stagger checks do not have reduced damage, then you can use it for damage during the stagger.

Mobility

  1. spacebar animation cancel can add a little extra mobility to your spacebar and has a fairly similar cooldown.

  1. is essentially another dash like spacebar, it’s used to stack adrenaline however if you’re just using it for mobility it’s best to just use it once as the cooldown is increased per additional use. It does not have push immunity.
  2. has a very large hit box and can even be used as a mobility skill to get out of a mechanic as its dash range allows you to hit while escaping, increasing the risk/reward playstyle and greed strikers often have. The hitbox is wide allowing for sideways outwards hits. It only gives push immunity during the charge.

  1. tripod allows you to hit the boss at different angles so even if they reposition you can hit the back with some minor adjustments.

Gear Set

You will use Preordained Diligence from Argos until you hit 1445 item level and can get the Earth's Entropy Set.

The Earth's Entropy set will dramatically increase the damage of your back attacks.

Bracelet

Look for around 50-70 Spec and around 50-70 Swiftness on your bracelet to begin with, these will be the easiest bracelets to obtain and will provide a good damage increase for a low cost.

Endgame bracelets will have 2 static and up to 2 rollable bonuses (3 with Ancient Bracelets). These bracelets also typically want bonuses that compliment each other like Hammer and Wedge, which are difficult to roll.

Endgame bracelets are typically extremely expensive to purchase and roll, costing hundreds of thousands of gold on average. Do not roll for these bracelets until you’ve finished gearing up other parts of your character.

Endgame bracelets should consist of the following affixes:

  • Swiftness
  • Spec
  • Hammer (Has additional bonuses when rolled together with Wedge)
  • Wedge (Has additional bonuses when rolled together with Hammer)
  • Circulate
  • Ambush
  • Superiority
  • Precise

Best synergies

Gunlancer synergy is -12% defense for 10s, 12% head/back attack damage for 12s and is high uptime while being able to taunt boss. All of this makes Gunlancer best synergy for Esoteric Flurry who needs to have high uptime on back attack positional damage.

Deathblade synergy is also 12% head/back attack damage with good uptime pairing with any Striker build.

Any other high uptime entropy build's synergy that provides damage % increase or armor break as examples; Destroyer, Scrapper, Perfect Suppression Shadowhunter, pair well alongside a Gunlancer and Striker.

Critical rate synergy isn't needed from party members on a properly built Esoteric Flurry build.
