Lunar Voice Reaper Build Guide for Raid

Build

required skill points: 392

is a gauge builder/spender sustained burst DPS class that takes a decent amount of investment in order to comfortably play.

Her goal is to generate gauge for her Persona identity, and use Swoop skills while in the Persona state. She requires careful deliberation with her damage abilities, as missing a heavy hitting Swoop skill is catastrophic to her damage output.

It has a high learning curve due to a lot of skills focing movement, you will need to be dextrous with your hands to control her forced mobility in your favor.

How to play

Your core gameplay loop consists of applying your synergy with Dagger skills, building your identity gauge with Shadow skills, and once filled, using the identity to go into Persona mode.

Your secondary and also equally as important goal is to keep on cooldown at all times, as they reduce the cooldown of your Swoop skills.

You want to be at the back of the boss at ALL times when performing these powerful Swoop skills, as she is a back attacker.

Rotation

In order to get into Persona Mode you need to fill your green identity meter.

Any green, purple skills or auto attacks will fill your identity meter.

Your ultimate skill, , will instantly fill your green identity gauge.

After activating Persona Mode, most actions will cancel it such as; auto attacks, skills and , so make sure to use a red skill to take advantage of the buff. After leaving Persona Mode, your gauge is reset. Note that general movement and using HP potions will not cancel Persona Mode.

An example rotation:

Cycle 1

  1. Persona Mode

Cycle 2

  1. (Re-Activate)
  2. Persona Mode

Cycle 3

  1. (Re-Activate)
  2. Persona Mode

With this example cycle, you require 1714 Specialization with Lv. 4 on to perform this rotation without any auto-attacks.

You can perform this rotation at much lower Specializations, the bare minimum being 1554 Specialization, but you will need to weave auto-attacks in between.

Additional Class Info

will always teleport you to the opposite side to where you are. For example, if you throw the dagger to the front of the boss, you will be teleported to its back after reactivating .

can counter in two ways:

The initial hit can counter.

Throwing the dagger to the back of the boss, then teleporting to the front.

  • This means that you can stay at the back dealing damage, then use to teleport to the front of the boss and counter.

allows you to dash through the boss, this means that it is a great skill to reposition yourself behind the boss. For example, if you want to use and end up at the front of the boss, use to get to it's back.

Manipulating, managing and controlling your Persona mode activation backflip is essential to playing well as , as you can use it to your advantage to gain positional advantage on the boss.

Utility

  • and are your destruction skills.

If you have a 9/7 stone you can add or at level 1.

If you're running swift instead of spec you should replace for .

It is not recommended to run on , as the movement speed bonus from Persona mode’s stealth dissipates just before the damage of the Swoop skill is applied.

Barricade

is a decent option, but as of the current version it is still fairly awkward and slow to use as you have to slot your Swoop skills with Protection runes in order to make full use of . The shield from it lingers long enough for Barricade’s damage increase to apply to the Swoop skill.

However, Barricade’s damage increase does not work on the rest of your skills, which is something to keep in mind.

The main stat for Lunar Voice is Specialization. It increases Swoop skill damage, identity meter gain and Awakening skill damage.

Your secondary stat can be either Swiftness or Crit, which mostly boils down to personal preference.

Crit Secondary

  • Necklace - Spec + Crit
  • Earrings - Spec
  • Rings - Spec
  • Bracelet - Spec + Swift

This build offers a higher damage ceiling and consistent crits. This however does mean that there is crit that goes to waste from multiple sources, making crit synergies a waste in the same party.

Swift Secondary

  • Necklace - Spec + Crit
  • Earrings - Spec
  • Rings - Spec
  • Bracelet - Spec + Swift

This build offers increased attack and movement speed, as well as cooldown reduction. It benefits from a crit synergy, and does need to rely on . At the same time the damage ceiling is lower and needs to take advantage of the increased cooldown reduction or it's losing damage.
