Arthetine Technology Machinist Build Guide for PvE
Build
focuses on staying in Human form instead of being in Hypersync.
This means that you will only be in Human form, if you prefer being in Hypersync, you can check out the Legacy build.
This guide covers two builds; the Dominion build and the Salvation build which are named after their respective relic gear sets. Both are great choices so choose based on the playstyle you like most:
- Salvation
- More consistent - easier time doing damage comparatively.
- Higher damage.
- Dominion
- Less damage, but is much cheaper due to awakening.
- Requires player consistency and is less forgiving, is harder to play and requires you to perform optimally.

Skill priority
is how we proc our synergy, it only requires level 4 for the tripod. You absolutely need this skill so it's great that it is so cheap in terms of skill points.
If you have leftover skill points, you can level the skills in the order above, except as we just need it for synergy.
How to play
You can freely move your drone when in human form. Make sure to check your settings and change the drone movement to the key you prefer - it is recommended to use a mouse button you might have available.
In order call your drone back to you, simply press the X key. You can also use this to animation cancel Drone skills.
Use off cooldown for damage, you can use it after your Conviction/Judgement proc for reduced cooldown. If running the Dominion gear set make sure to use this first and when you have your other skills ready to use.
Maintain your synergy, use to keep the 6% damage buff to your party.
Maintain your movement speed buff from by using it before your combo if possible.
Note that if you use a Fusion skill while a Drone skill is currently active, you will cancel the current Drone skill, so be careful with timing your skills.
You can use many Drone skills and Normal skills simultaneously, this is achieved by using a Normal skill after using a Drone skill, you cannot do this the other way around. With this in mind:
- Use with , this procs your Conviction/Judgement combo. Get your drone back afterwards if needed to prepare for your next Drone skill.
- Use with . Get your drone back afterwards if needed to prepare for your next Drone skill.
- Use Fusion skills off cooldown.
When using , getting the cast bar closer to the end of the perfect zone will do more damage than at the start of the perfect zone - with this you can expect a ~10% damage increase from this skill.
Every time you use certain Normal skills, you gain a reload stack. Reload stacks give you a 1% movement and attack speed buff that can be stacked up to 5 times. with the tripod can give you up to two stacks on each roll. This buff has great synergy with . If possible, before a fight, you can use some of your lower cooldown skills and auto attacks (you get a stack in between the second and third hit) to have full reload stacks for the fight.
You can still get into Hypersync with the engraving. You should never transform for damage, with this build you will always deal more damage in human form. The only good reason to change to Hypersync would be if you were doing a mechanic and you need a shield urgently - for example, if someone fails the Vykas typing mechanic and you don't have a support with ultimate/shield, or . Otherwise, never transform. Remember that you have a rune, reload buff and swiftness so your movement speed should be similar or faster than in Hypersync.
- is your counter.
- Your best stagger skill is , though most of your skills have decent stagger.
