Build
If you want to have some of the highest burst in the game (BIG NUMBERS!) while going toe to toe with the boss, this build is for you. will increase the damage of your Purple Skills by giving you more Crit and Crit Damage depending on how many cores you have when you use the skill.
This build encourages you to take all the hard-hitting long charge time skills like , , and . Your focus is to generate Gravity Cores and once you have 3 cores, use one of your Purple Skills in a frontal attack. Your skills give you Push Immunity and a shield so you can easily trade blows with the boss to land your attacks.
If you want to become essentially invincible instead of a burst damage dealer, try out the Gravity Training build.

How to play
Playing a Destroyer is simple. Build cores with Blue Skills, spend cores with Purple Skills, do big damage, and profit!
Playing a Destroyer well is not so simple. It requires knowledge of the boss's attack patterns and a good read on damage you can take with your shield during trades. Use your taunt and shields to stay in the thick of battle and land frontal attacks on the boss. If you know the boss is going to stay still, Hypergravity can be used for damage, otherwise it can get you out of potentially sticky mechanics.
Skill Usage Priority
Building your cores is simple. It's always a combination of and either or . The cooldowns work out so that one is always available while the other is down.
Spending your cores, you should prioritize the following if its up:
There is no doubt that is your hardest-hitting ability, but you should use your judgement depending on positioning and what's happening in the fight before deciding to commit on cooldown. A missed is worse than a delayed one, so feel free to substitute with an easier-to-land skill like
Stagger Check Combo
is also great for a stagger (even Destruction) check, but your kit is so loaded with great stagger skills that you can afford not to use your hardest-hitting skills to clear the check. However, you need to be flexible and read the room to decide whether to commit all your skills or not, since they are your source of damage.

You want to focus on getting enough Crit to ensure your hard-hitting skills hit with full force. Then you can get ~400-500 Swiftness for QoL.
Later on, as you can get more points and better gear, don't shy away from some Specialization as it can boost the damage of your attacks. This is especially true if you have met the above thresholds and see a juicy accessory with the engravings you want but it has Specialization.
