For Shaco's runes, the most important choices are your Marks and Quintessences. Flat Attack Damage Marks give him a stronger early game, increasing his damage and making it easier to secure kills and start snowballing. Movement Speed Quintessences are also a great option, allowing Shaco to create more map pressure, gank more effectively, and move around the map faster.
Armor Seals help during early skirmishes and improve your jungle clear, while Scaling Magic Resist Glyphs provide stronger defenses as the game progresses. If the enemy jungler and solo lanes are heavy on Ability Power, you can also opt for Flat Magic Resist Glyphs for better early protection.

While playing Shaco, we really want to maximize his damage output, so investing fully into the Offense tree is the best choice. The extra Attack Speed, Attack Damage, and Penetration help him secure kills, win early fights, and clear the jungle more efficiently.
Shaco is known for his strong ganking and ability to appear anywhere on the map, so put your remaining points into the Utility tree for the extra Movement Speed and increased buff duration, allowing you to rotate faster and make more plays across the map.

Shaco is all about creating pressure through unpredictable ganks and counter jungling. Use your W to set up a healthy first clear; your boxes last 1 minute to put someone down before your camps spawn. Look to gank early with Q before enemies expect it, even at level 2.
Focus on catching overextended lanes rather than farming endlessly. Shaco snowballs extremely well, so an early lead can quickly take over the game. Shaco spikes again at level 6 as you can create even more havoc with his clone, making fighting, objective control, and even escaping way easier.
