How to Play
Pantheon dominates the early lane through constant poke with his Q. Harass your opponent whenever they walk up for CS while using your passive to block key auto attacks. At level 3, your full combo can force most champions out of lane if they've taken enough poke.
While trading, remember that when you engage with W it refreshes your passive allowing you to tank more damage. One you have your ultimate, look for opportunities to roam to help other lanes if they're behind.
Runes Explained
For
Pantheon's runes, we want to make his spear poke as strong as possible, so Attack Damage Marks and Attack Damage Quintessences are the best choices. The extra damage helps his Spear Shot hit harder and makes his trades much more threatening during the laning phase.
Since
Pantheon will be fighting often and looking for aggressive exchanges, Armor Seals and Magic Resist Glyphs provide the extra defenses needed to survive trades and come out ahead in fights.
Masteries Explained
While playing
Pantheon, your main goal is to win your lane and snowball the game through early kills. The Offense tree helps achieve this by providing extra Attack Damage and increased damage, allowing
Pantheon to trade harder and secure solo kills.
The remaining points can go into the Utility tree, as the extra Mana Regeneration is extremely useful since you'll be constantly throwing your spear for poke and harass during the laning phase.
