For
Nidalee runes, we want a lot of Attack Damage since we'll be poking in lane with basic attacks and using bushes to our advantage. Attack Damage Marks and Attack Damage Quintessences give her stronger trades and help increase her overall damage output.
We also want some defensive stats since
Nidalee can get stuck in fights, especially when using Cougar Form. Armor Seals and Magic Resist Glyphs provide the extra defenses needed to survive against both physical and magic damage throughout the game.

While playing
Nidalee, you want a good balance between damage and defenses since you can find yourself diving into team fights and taking a lot of damage in Cougar Form. The Defense tree should be your first priority, as the extra health, resistances, and damage reduction help you survive longer when engaging enemies.
We still want to increase our damage output, so take the Offense tree as your secondary. The bonus Attack Speed, Attack Damage, and Armor Penetration all work well with
Nidalee and help increase the damage of her abilities and basic attacks.
Aspect Of The Cougar (R) does not start with a level
Prowl (P) has Hunt passive removed
Bushwhack / Pounce (W) does more damageOur experts are currently testing LoL Classic builds for
Nidalee on the PBE.

Nidalee is a strong lane bully who wins through auto attacks and sustain. Use your range to harass melee champions every time they go for CS, and keep your E active for the attack speed buffs during trades.
Use the bushes for movement speed while poking and to reset minion aggro. Focus on controlling the wave while slowly wearing your opponent down while getting a nice CS lead. Once level 6 arrives, use Cougar form to chase down low health enemies or quickly disengage after trading.
Farm well and abuse your range to build an early advantage then use that to become a split pushing nightmare for the enemy team to deal with.
