How to Play
Farm carefully during the opening levels and look for E casts that hit your opponent alongside the minion wave. This lets you trade while building your shield. Your abilities cost health, so repeated casts that achieve little can leave you vulnerable.
Use W when enemies stay close enough for its damage to matter. In melee trades, weave Q between basic attacks and look for an isolated target when possible. Avoid automatically pushing every wave: you have no dash or built-in crowd control to rescue you from a gank.
Pick up Hextech Revolver early to make your health costs easier to manage. Continue buying wards and position toward the side of the lane where you have vision.
At level 6, look for a target your team can kill during R’s curse. Ignite helps finish the kill. A strong enemy marksman’s ghost can be especially useful for the rest of the fight, but prioritise a target you can actually secure. Once you have a ghost, actively command it to attack enemies or help take a turret.
Runes Explained
Magic Penetration Marks and Ability Power Quintessences support your spell damage. Dealing more ability damage also helps generate a stronger Iron Man shield, linking your offensive stats to your durability.
Armor Seals help against basic attacks and physical damage, while Magic Resist Glyphs are useful into magic damage opponents.
Masteries Explained
Use the AP side of the offensive tree for ability power, magic penetration and cooldown reduction. Archmage supports your AP scaling, while Executioner helps finish enemies during your ultimate’s curse. Summoner’s Wrath also improves Ignite.
The nine defensive points add health and resistances. The listed page favours armor, against a magic damage lane, move two points from Hardiness into Resistance. Mordekaiser has no mana bar, so mana regeneration masteries offer him no benefit.
